I wish I had lots of psychic abilities like foretelling the future, reading minds, bending or melting objects with your mind, contacting the dead, etc., but I can't do any of that stuff. However, I have been blessed (or cursed) with one infallible psychic ability and that's choosing a shopping cart with at least one trashed wheel. I'm really, really good at this one. I swear, every time I grab a shopping cart, it always has a bum wheel. I'm infallible at this ability. Unfortunately, it's not much use. I really wish I had inherited better psychic abilities, but this is the only one I have. Anyone know how I could market it and make a bundle of money?

I had a friend who got called in for jury duty, and she wrote on her questionnaire, "I can tell just by looking at someone if they're guilty or innocent because I'm psychic." Then her feelings were hurt when they immediately rejected her. Those idiots. How often do you meet someone who can do that?

Also probably unlikely to work, and even if it was successful you'd be thrown back into the jury pool with a "chance" to be selected again. When I was on jury duty, just getting to the point in the process where it's asked if there's any reason why you can't be an impartial juror, it was past lunch. Half a day already shot to hell just waiting to see if I was going to be picked as a juror.

It "worked" for her because it wasn't a ploy to get out of jury duty. She genuinely believed she was psychic and that her supernatural abilities would be an asset to the jury. She wanted jury duty. Her feelings were hurt when she didn't get it. I had to explain to her that it was nothing personal. I really should say it didn't work for her. She didn't want to be dismissed.

This is someone I used to date. It's probably not too terribly difficult to figure out why I didn't marry her.

if the cowboys play poorly,lose or go on a losing streak...i can tell you who exactly will appear in the game day thread or in the main forum.

if the cowboys play well,are winning,and go on a winning streak...i can tell which posters...in the game day thread or on the main forum...will vanish.

its a honed skill.

Duuuude, anyone that thinks they are legit psychic is likely someone you wouldn't want to date anyway. That's a recipe for disaster because they're always "right" due to their "power"

I did have a psychic episode once in my life. I had a dream of the pattern necessary to get past the 2nd level motorcycles on the video game Tron. This sounds like I'm joking, but I'm not. Most dreams I forget shortly after waking up. This one was photographic in nature. This has never happened to me again. But man I wish that was the way I could solve real problems on a regular basis.

Of all the abilities you have listed, I only liked bending or melting objects. I have no interest in reading minds, seeing into the future, or contacting the dead. Especially contacting the dead!!!

I had a pretty reliable person tell me something about jury duty, and how to get around it. Here in NJ when you get the notice, it tells you to sign in blah blah blah. Once you do that, you're on the hook. But if you just take that piece of mail and throw it in the trash and never sign in. They don't know you exist. You will not be called. For my entire adult life, that's what I did. Never a problem. I don't think I'll do that now. Never know when things change.

Not to diminish your experience, but it seems more likely that your subconscious figured out what your conscious mind was overthinking.

This is the most logical conclusion, and one I held for many years. But I realized something that put this back into the unknown. Lack of information.

On this particular map you have two opponents riding motorcycles too. Their path changes depending on your path. I've never taken that path before, I've never finished the map. One of the reasons I knew it was going to work was the location of the other two 'cycles. They were in the exact same place they were in my dream from beginning to end. My brain would have no way of knowing that. The only other person I watched play was my friend. He wasn't that far. He never got to that map. He was also not impressed that a dream told me how to finish the map. Not only that, the bizarre clarity of the dream was like nothing I've ever experienced before, or since.

None of it makes sense. I'm sure there's a normal answer no matter how unlikely. I just don't know it. I heard someone once say, the difference between a dream and a vision is that you remember the vision. Even if that's true, I had one insignificant vision. Couldn't it have been about something slightly more important? It was akin to having a vision on how best to clean a toilet bowl.
