The weakness in my roster scenario is at WR.

If one of our top 4 guys gets injured, we have little experienced depth.

Let's hope Sherman coaches up these guys really well.

The other weakness is at OT depth, of course. But that's JJ's fault, not mine!

I think we keep six receivers now, with the extra spot coming from the defensive line. Seven linemen is a little high in the 3-4, especially if they don't contribute much to special teams.

If Dixon makes the team it will be at the expense of Hatcher or Bowen, with Bowen being most likely since he will probably leave in free agency next year anyway.

Yep.

That's the one spot I would disagree with as well.

Especially given the recent injuries to Stanback and Hurd already.

I think Hatcher may be well on his way to working his way off of this team.

Where, when, and what....pray tell...have you seen from Stanback? Ever? He's done so much less than Hurd at this point that I can't even believe we're discussing it.

He's not even a third string practice breaker, nevertheless a "gamebreaker".

Sorry, I'm just not on the Hurd bandwagon...if there is one.

Either am I....but I'm damn near ready to set a torch to the Stanback bandwagon...and there definitely is one. :D

I really want to see something out of him...but I'm not holding my breath.

I've been vocal in my concern with Stanback and Williams....if they both prove me wrong....it'll be a good thing.

I just feel Stanback has more potential than Hurd, based on his speed and versatility. It's not much different, than the way fans feel about Austin and his potential this year, even though Hurd has caught 5 more passes than him.

Still, no team called Hurd in for a tryout.
