Sensational win by our guys tonight. I wanted them to win but like many, figured we'd get beaten and most likely beaten bad. I admit it, I totally thought this team was toast after the last two weeks, they manned up tonight and played a bigtime game. I'll take my crow served hot or cold.

1) Tony Romo is playing excellent football, and tonight was a great, great effort. Nobody can pin any December swoon on him this yr.

2) 36 runs, 37 passes...great balance...good enough run game to keep it going...great play-action game tonight, the Saints bit badly on virtually every oneof them. Held the ball almost 37 minutes. Garrett and the other coaches put together a great game plan and he called an excellent game. The first two drives of the game (and most of the third) and the opening second half drive, then the last drive to set up the FG were as good as we've played in quite some time.

3) Defensively what can anyone say except that was a "winning" effort. They got 4 (really 5) sacks on Brees, who'd only been sacked 15 times all yr. Other than 1 or 2 runs, the Saints did nothing on the gound. We only got hurt by one screen. No deep balls given up. Forced 3 turnovers, all at key moments. We blast the guy for everything, so you gotta hand it to Wade tonight. And they came up huge after that deflating FG miss.

4) A game where we get 3 turnovers, give up none, have no false start penalties on the road in one of the loudest, most hostile stadiums in football. A+ effort by the OL, who I believe had only one penalty and other than three or four plays they struggled with blitz protection, solid effort all the way around.

5) D Ware and Anthony Spencer tore the Saints tackles some new ones tonight.

6) Roy Williams, you just cant drop that pass in that situation. You just cant. Nick Folk, well. Unbelievable how far this guy has fallen but Parcells once said here that once a kicker loses it mentally, he's through. I cant believe he missed a 24yd FG lined up right in the middle. They gotta cut him or at the least shut him down the rest of the yr. Raise your hands if you thought OT was a definite after Folk blew that kick (yeah, mine's up)

7) Mike Jenkins is turning into a bigtime NFL player. Miles Austin is also a bigtime NFL player. People laughed at Jerruh for saying he thought Austin was a legit replacement for TO, and he was on the nose. He suggested in the spring Austin might be a legit #1 WR, when alot of people were hoping we'd get a 2nd rd pick for him as RFA compensation.

8) Nice games by John Phillips and Kevin Ogletree. Ogletree and Crayton came up with two big time catches tonight. On Phillips, he catches a career high 3 passes and how smart was it to turn that last one back inside a bit and keep that clock going. Alot of guys whould have been content to get that first down and run out of bounds.

Great win tonight, hoepfully it carries over to next week in Washington.

Just get rid of the condescending, "I see stupid people" in your avatar, those are die hard Cowboys fans that you think you are better than mr. Save the crow for the real trolls....:spanking:

Nice post, dbair. I'll even give props to JG tonight. :D Great game plan and execution.

But to think, Wade likes B-Will quite a bit more than Butler. :)

I have to say it is the best tasting crow I have ever eaten in my life :bounce::bounce: If any one wants to create a smiley with feathers or anything liek that I am willing to demo it for you. :D

I only got to watch the 1st qtr than had to follow it on the radio then online (dam to much crap going on including work)

I was bent when Folk missed that FG. as soon as he missed I was sure the rest of the season going down the tube on that play I could see the momentum just swinging the other direction. Then the defense did it's part and made a big play when they really needed it.

Butler should definitely be worked into the mix so Ware can be fresher for those 3rd downs. I want to see it look like Ware is shot out of the cannon more often with those fresh legs of his.

Maybe next year with Butler and BWilliams, we can get Spencer and Ware plenty of breaks.

Hopefully we can find a more reliable NT and get Ratliff some more rest, too. The best thing might be just to move Spears to NT for some more snaps so Rat can be fresh too.
Watched the NFL network interview with Ware and he said he was still fresh after the game. No real practice this week with limited play time and he was awesome. He said he wants Butler in for more plays (joking around about fresh legs).
