NEWS FLASH!!! JG is not a genius. He is not the second coming of Tom Landry.

I think the honeymoon is over now with Garrett.............................no playoffs and he is gone this year.

Noway we sit home again and Jerry can sell the fans that Garrett is the right guy for the job.

Wow!!! What game were you actually watching??? We didn't dominate any facet of that game.

We can agree to disagree. But note, that I was talking specifically about one unit, and I qualified even that with 'at times.'

Things I'm tired of

Murry always tripping over something or running in molasses or some other thing that prevents him from busting a decent run.

Our tight ends who fall forward the moment they have anyone around their ankles. Can we mix in a high step or shake loose?

Things that I thought were better

O line except the last quarter
Interior D line getting more push

Things that killed me

The almost 7 minute drive that led to only a FG at the start of the 3rd quarter. This was the game changer for me. Dez one on one but we go wr screen to williams ? Trying to get cute instead of going to your best athlete on the field

The Dunbar fumble. He is our Darren sproles with a David Wilson problem.
The Claiborne penalty was garbage.
The pass to Miles that he caught but was way behind him...out inn front and he is gone.

I have to believe the Jason Garrett experiment will be over if we miss the playoffs this year. And it should. By the end of this season, he will have had more than enough time. It's time for him to put up or get the hell out!!!

It doesn't matter who calls the plays when the plays suck. JG's offense needs to be flushed down the toilet. Only time it works is when Romo improvises and plays backyard football.

How do you know this wasn't backyard football?

I think even Garrett's biggest defenders are starting to realize that this thing is no working out. Maybe he just needs to go to another team to show he can be a great coach, but for whatever reason he just cant seem to get the job done in big D.

To answer your question..........yes.............if we dont make the playoff then its pretty much guaranteed that Garrett has to go.

Not if you only score 16 pts you shouldnt.

The standard goal for teams is to give up 17 pts or less and score 25 or more. We win that game easily if we score effectively in the RZ despite the turnovers. You aren't winning games you have a -2 TO diff and settle for FGs instead of TDs. The former obviously speaks in generalities as you can lose 3-2. Specifically we win this game with an extra 4 pts.

On another note;
San Diego could easily be 2-0
Chicago is 2-0, and beat two playoff teams
Luckily, Philly and Washington lost
But it would not surprise me if the Giants win at home. Hope not.

Teams that score only 1 offensive TD usually lose the game the majority of the time.

The problem is our red zone offense has been AWOL since Garrett took over. I dont see how it magically changes overnight.

That sounds great and all, but the fact of the matter is, like i said last week, you dont give an average QB that much responsibility in a game. Alex Smith is an average QB, he wins because the coaches dont put everything on him. You can type to your fingers fall off about Romo and his numbers, but the fact of the matter he should not have this much responsibility over the offence. He needs to get the play communicate it to the team and run the play with. Like Alex Smith,

This lose is on the offense, i agree with that, but you cant dance around the fact that Romo is largely responsible for most of the mistakes out there today. Several missed passes, bad audibles a fumble, and what should have been a game ending int.

I think I said that earlier. -2 TO diff along with poor RZ performance and running game make it difficult to win.

This offense is made up of 5 yard outs and swing passes to the RBs

Love taking the play clock down to zero still.. I thought that was going to change

When you call him an average QB you lose most of your audience. I stopped reading after that. Talk to the hand.

The Jason Garrett era should never have started to begin with. You don't learn on the job in the NFL.

Yep, I was never a fan of the hire in the first place.

How Wade got fired and Garrett got promoted I will never understand. They either should have both been fired or both kept on. At least with every loss the Garrett reign is getting closer and closer to being over.

nope, look at the company's he's in. no one should blame Dez for anything, even the great one's drop a ball every now and then.

Not with the game on the line, quit making excuses for him. He's a big boy.
