Trolling: ***Post Game Thread***

Well settling for fg's is a long time problem for this team.

Offensively they seem to flounder at the worse times.

nope, look at the company's he's in. no one should blame Dez for anything, even the great one's drop a ball every now and then.

Well if he wants to be considered elite, then he has to make that play in a crucial moment, at least that's what the Romo haters would say. Anyways the game wasn't lost on that drop ball, though it may have hurt us, there were certainly many other plays from all around that killed us. Team effort lose.

Colquitt and turnovers. Otherwise, we win by a possession.

I do believe Colquitt made a huge difference. We could not run at all and their defense knew it. The Chiefs had two players rush for more yards than we did total.
We only lost by 1 and we were lucky it was not more so we need to wash this taste out of our mouths and move on.

Anyone who chalks this lose on Romo is a moron, team effort all around goes to that L. Anyways, we caught a break with our whole division losing today, on to the Rams.

Of course it's not on him, but a good QB wins that game in the 4th Q.

That's only true if we could count on all of the other teams in our division to lose to the Chiefs as well. Since 2 of those 3 games will be on the road for the Chiefs, I highly doubt it. Of course, in a way this Rams game is even bigger since it's our third place schedule game. We have to take advantage of it.

As I said in the chat - watching this team offensively is as boring as it gets. We are so vanilla, so average and so "Romo to Witten for 3 yards" it's maddening. We're an 8-8 team as far as I see it.

Bingo.

This offense is about as dull as it gets.

I honestly think they have no identity. They seem to look around the rest of the league and try to implement from all the successful offenses. Bubble screens, pistol formation, redundant emphasis on 2TEs.

They are basically mimicking the rest of the NFL just as they were doing with the Wildcat.

The offense is clearly the weakest unit on the team right now which is a ridiculous thing to say considering that they've dedicated so much to that side of the ball.

I agree. That 3rd quarter FG was a killer. I can't figure out what the problem really is with our red zone offense. We've got the personnel for matchups, we're protecting the passer a lot better in there. OL penalties, are a contributing factor. Otherwise, it's a head scratcher.
The same thing for me with the slow offensive starts. Both in games, and in the season. We seem to get it going, eventually, but the last two years in particular, it's been tough sledding. It's pretty frustrating when it's causing you to drop winnable road games.

You guys really think this game was about losing in the trenches? I'm so confused. Let alone the part about the team not addressing the OL under Jason Garrett.

The refs contributed to the loss but the team did it to themselves.

However we don't have a pass rush. Ware is the only weapon. I love Romo, but he was terrible today. Too many mental errors from the same key players since 2008. Our oline should have been completely addressed last year.

Our key players have too many mental errors plus they are getting old.

That spells disaster especially with a weak dline and an average oline.

Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, AJ Green. Any other questions?

That drop was painful and he will have to hear about for a few days, unfortunately.

You know what's funny. All off season you hear the team talk about things they will implement and changes they have made that should help them be more successful, offensively. This off season it was getting Romo more involved in game planning, changes in the way plays are called to get plays off quicker, new play caller, etc. Well, I wont hit the panick button for a while, but I must say, the early results do not look too promising. :(

we are an 8-8 team. Pretty simple to me I'm happy that we were competitive but this is an 8-8 team trying to find its way. Garrett will be let go at the end of the season because he's too set in mediocrity. He's not an innovator and doesnt inspire anyone so here are your results. Can anyone tell me why Romo didnt at least try to throw it to Dez on that last possession in the red zone? Cause average teams think "well we'll get at least 3 points" and good teams think "we need to get that TD to put this game away"

So you're saying Romo is not a good QB, yes?

i said it last week and ill say it again, hes an average QB and the ownership and the coaches give him far to much responsibility as an average QB.

Yes,
If you omit season momentum and other stuff...on paper
The order of importance for the 1st 4 games is

Giants...by far
.
.
Rams
.
Chiefs and Chargers

So you're saying Romo is not a good QB, yes?

Not what I meant, he is a good QB but IMO more than 10 QB's in the league win that game. To a fault I trully believe he is a top tier QB but the reallity is he is not.

Dumb plays and mistakes in the fourth quarter. Followed up by an even dumber fan base getting angry and posting ridiculous things.
