Unfortunately, the narrative will be which Dak will show up...which Mahrer will show up...which defense will show up.
And that’s a fair narrative. I, for one, expect the Cowboys to come out and be crisp again. Aside from the obvious, which was a win, this game was a confidence booster. Well, except for Maher. But the 49ers are a couple of levels above the Bucs, except at QB.

no, I said Dallas should easily win unless Dak chokes.. they were favored by 17.5 pts. People just said they’d win because of the “aura” of Tom Brady..
Lol. What are you talking about? The Cowboys were 3.5 to 4.5 point favorites depending on the sports book.

You have spent the past 7 years doing nothing but trashing Dak. It's a pretty sad existence

You are cherry picking stats to fit your agenda…Tampa Bay was the 10th ranked defense overall in yards allowed. They were 6th in passing yards per attempt, 7th in sacks, 12th in first down % and I’m sure I could find more if I looked at all. They were (and are) a well respected defense that is certainly in the top half of the league by almost all measures…except ones you have cherry picked for your agenda. Plus the Bucs were 16th in TDs allowed. Not great but middle of the road, certainly not pathetic as you have portrayed them.

Yes, Im “cherry picking” stats that fit my agenda against a team in the worst division in football, full of backup QBs that their pass defense couldn’t stop all year long when it came to stopping teams. They were losing to Kenny Pinckett of the Steelers until Mitch Trubisky came in and torched them too and proceeded to lose against PJ Walker and the Panthers after just trading McCaffery and WR Robbie Anderson. They were in reality a joke and problems were recognized all through the year in regards to being a torrent of breakdowns.

I was talking about PASS defense and they were joke in the secondary. The fact that they were bottom of the barrell in terms of points defended in the pass, against the worst division in football, playing against back ups half the time, and their secondary was still getting torched despite “yards given up”. It was a hall mark of BUSTED coverages.

They were the THIRD worst defense against TEs and Schultz and Ferguson ran wild all over them. The Lamb TD he was wide open. What you saw last night exemplified this reality to a team that was better in every facet.

This is not true. TB's defense's passing yards per game is ranked 9th overall. Only one spot worse than us.

Meant to say TDs and TOs, as I did in multiple threads. I just said their pass defense sucked like the Vikings, meaning they were. But the Vikings as I said back then give up a lot of yards, but the INTs generated is what ‘compensated”, but it was only a matter of time before they blew up.

The fact TB wasn’t bad in yards but was awful in scoring and generating TOs illustrates exactly what happened last night and all year. They had plenty of busted coverages and they simply played in the worst division in football and against pretty much backup QBs all year long.

the fact they couldn’t get any pressure because the OL dominated made it even worse. This was a typical blow out in the playoffs of a much superior team to a team that really didn’t deserve to be there if not for the bad division.

I know it was probably Prescott’s best game ever, but this dude is just covering his tracks after ranking him 12 out of 14 of playoff QBs. Prescott has had problems but hasn’t been the train wreck this guy tries to say he is.
He was getting called out on social media all night, he finally responded. He was taking some heat.
