The all pro left tackle went out with in injury. If Dak was sacked people would ask for Garrett's head. A kicker's job is to make a 40 yard field goal indoors.

Not only that but you burned the other teams timeouts totally so they couldn't ice the kicker and milked the clock to 4 seconds. That's perfect execution. Win or OT, no losing option.
Maher was shaky but the guy is also 5 of 7 from 40-50 yards and had made 2 other FGs.

End of the first half was a legit time mgmt gripe.
