Well, that was sheer genius. It's third down, and you can ice the game with a first down, or you can run and wolf down most of the time, giving it back to them with very little time. What to do? Do you do a safe short pass that might ice it with the first down? Do you run the ball, and pig up much of the time? Why, no. Neither one. Throw a bomb all the way down the field.
