Post-presser thoughts

He will leave a void in the leadership of this team. Someone has to step up.

Definition of class.

The guy who left the team out to dry on his retirement plans?

We’ll be better off without the hillbilly

It’s going to be fun watching him fail in the booth!

Then he can go coach his alma and be an even bigger failure!

This opens the door to bring a true difference maker in here!

Dallas had three other TEs on the roster when Witten made the formal annoucement, plus this was a deep draft for TEs. If Dallas worried about its depth they wouldn't have let James Hanna retire.

Desmond Bry....oh
Dez needs to swallow his pride and take the next offer he gets because it will very likely be his last. Jerry said he's not coming back to the Cowboys so I guess that ship has sailed.

I imagine that player stepping up will be Dak.

Shaddup with that, Witten is at the end of his career anyway. I'll tell you who leaves the team out to dry every year is Jason Garrett. Garrett can't adjust during games for anything, this is why his playoff record is dismal.

Clickbait.
You are a sad little man.

There are some good TEs on this team and more to come if needed. At least he left on his own terms and at the best time. He could have gotten badly injured - risk for older players.

This is the most classless post I've ever read on here and that covers some territory. What a POS post.

My post-presser thoughts: It has to be a tough day for Dez Bryant to see the grand send-off Witten got compared to the shoddy send-off Dez received. I'm happy both Witten and Garrett mentioned Dez today in a positive light. BTW Dez can still play, Dak just throws an awful ball.
