Post some really positive news you've heard

Where was it heard about Al Johnson gaining that much weight? I haven't heard this up till now.

I wonder how these guys put on so much muscle without steriods? Ten pounds of extra muscle is a lot and should take a long time. I am not implying that they are using, I just wish I could put on muscle that fast.

In most cases I do not think it is a veteran putting on that large amount of muscle, the people who put on 10 to 15 pounds are those who are young and have not trained to the point to reach thier potential or who have not had the proper training up to this point in thier careers. As with Johnson, he has not been healthy enough since he has been here to have a great deal of gain, so include people in the large gain category who are coming back from injury or some facotr preventing them from hitting the weights hard.

a huge guy with professional trainers and a whole off season 10-15 lbs of muscle isnt that hard. Hit the weights everyday, take some nutritional stuff, im sure they have professional trainers and what not for everything.

Rob Pettiti's dad told us that is what Rob said...

- Kyle Kosier is coming out and surprising even the coaches (reportedly better than advertised)

What's the source on this? I wasn't aware they had been doing any practicing yet.

Our defense looks like it is now set . . . .

Our Special Teams is nearly set . . . . (possibly a kick off guy)

And our offense should be better than its been for some time.

Next draft, hopefully we get a possible number 1 WR to groom behind TO and Glenn and draft 1-2 more OL to develop.

We've got some tremendous youth on our team AND the capacity to sign them to long-term contracts.

Just some article. Can't remember who it was by...it said the assistant coaches working with him claimed he was "better than advertised."

Remember, it's their job to pump iron and stay fit. They have much more time to lift than the average joe. Plus, better facilities. So don't feel bad, you're doing great with what you have. We could probably add muscle with that amount of time and quality of resources.

on Kosier, it was Mickey reporting or Norm, cant remember which one, but one of them said, that the coaches are real excited about Kosier, that he was quicker than they thought when they viewed him on film.

How is this good news? Won't this create problems in the shower? How do the other guys feel about this?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
:D

Jose Cortez and Billy Cundiff are nowhere to be seen at Valley Ranch.

Quincy Carter and Vinny Testaverde.... ditto!

Dave Campo is not coaching at any level on this team.

Larry Lacewell had no input in this year's draft.

Well, ya wanted some positives. :D

That's pretty amazing about Johnson ... I've been trying to put on 10 lbs of muscle for the past 10 years.

I tried to put on 10 lbs of ABs muscle. I wanted washboard ABs. So far all I got is wash tub stomach.

I heard we got this guy named... T.O i think thats what they call him. He's supposed to be real good although i wouldn't know since you never ever hear about him from the media or anywhere...

If this stuff about Kosier and Johnson are true, I am pretty psyched. I have wanted to rid the team of Larry Allen for a while. I just thought that he has been dogging it for a few years now. If Kosier is better than advertised, this is very good news and quite a suprise. The pick really had me scratching my head. Was it Detroit he came from? What didn't they see in him that we do? Al Johnson can be a force w/ another 17 lbs IMHO. Got Fabini, but I'm not so sure that Petitti wouldn't really improve in his second year w/ the extra muscle and being healthy. Plus maybe Columbo can contribute? Why was JJT so down on him the other day.

Next thing I expect to hear is that Peterman looks like a Pro-Bowler.

- Jerry Jones got a haircut..
- Parcells says hes ready to coach the Cowboys in the upcoming season..
- Carpenter will be Bill Parcells waterboy soon..

Gee, Mickey said on one of his broadcasts that he played racquetball with him and could not believe how quick and mobile he was.

Bledsoe has TONS of options! Witten and Glenn on one side... Owens and Fasano on the other... or is it the other way around... Oh well, there's always Julius Jones or Marion Barber in the backfield... I like those options!!! Top 5 defense with lots of sacks, interceptions, and forced fumbles... Dante Hall comparisons for ST... Playoffs anyone?
