ok larry brown is on and norm,

they are talking about urgency on the team, and players seeing, and coaches, well no one is getting in my face and chewing me out, so im going to keep playing and coaching the way i am, is that wrong attitude

on urgency, norm says it starts with jerry jones, larry brown and other guy on theticket says it starts with wade and ends with wade;

norm was saying that do you see urgency from jerry jones, but larry brown said, its urgency on the team, you need to like send a message;

if players arent playing like they are capable, then you sit a guy like t o down, if you cant catch the ball, then another player will play, or like flozell keeps messing up you play mcquistan or free,

larry brown said when you do that, threaten to sit a player, and show competition, then you will get players attention;

so what do you all think, again main issue, when is there going to be accountablity on this team, and who is going to enforce the accountability, someone has to enforce accountability

Sure. I'm all for holding someones Job over their head to make them work harder and produce better.

But if we are going to do that to the players, the coaches had better damn sure be held to the same standard.

If you had to pick any person in the organization (excluding Rowdy) to get fired/benched/released who would it be?

I said it in a previous thread, but I think the main problem is the coaching staff (Wade) going along like everything is alright, and refusing to admit that they have a situation to handle.

There needs to be some drastic changes in the way Wade and his staff operates this team over the next three weeks, or the season is in danger of being over with us not making the playoffs.

Please update this thread accordingly. Ill do the same.

Brad Johnson:

Good job on the 1st drive. They made some great plays. We had the interceptin and had the fumble. We had to many pre-snap penalties. Missed assignments and penalties will lose ball games.

On Saints Defense: They made a heck of a lot of plays out there today. More than anything. It was missed queues on us.

On T.O. We obviously want to get T.O the ball. Unfortunately we didnt make many plays.

We just didn't make plays. We couldn't convert 3rd downs.

On Tampa: Get more snaps. Everyone feeling more comfortable with each other. Have to stop the presnap penalities. We have to get better as an offense, regardless.

DEMARCUS WARE:

Demarcus on overall feeling: Mistakes we had on defense. We have have to find a way to eliminate those plays.

Sham: What are your immediate thoughts?

Ware: I am not thinking of this loss right now. We are 4-3 and we have to find a way to get back to work. We have to go back to work on Monday. We have Tampa. I am looking at Tampa right now.

Sham: Any sense that this could take place?

Ware: I didnt think this would happen. Everyone on this team is playing to win. We have to score points and us the defense has to stop them.

Sham: Steven Jackson??

Ware: I don't really know.

Ware: Ups and downs in the game. We have to get the plays that come to you. We just have to get ready for next week. Thats how I feel.

Sham: Leadship

Ware: We aren't missing the leadership. It's not talking about want you want to do. Its about getting out there and doing it.

thats what im thinking NextGenBoys, and i have a stubborn friend, who puts this all on the media for the loss and jerry jones. He refuses to acknowledge that players like Terry Bradshaw whom won 4 superbowls, larry brown who won 3 and jimmy johnson whom won 2 and coached.

He thinks the media should just shut up and let softee wade phillips run the team his way and everything would be ok.

Now, that really gets me ticked off, wade is way to soft, and when larry brown says no hitting in practice and no other team in the nfl doesnt hold practices like wade does. That worked last year, playing soft with the players, but just like coughlin, he was known for a strict disciplinearan, but when that wasnt working, coughlin, changed his philosoply and treated the players like players.

Main thing he changed his philosophy and it worked, Wade refuses to change his work ethic and it reflects on the team now. Players have to be in nfl form, and tough and ready, if not, the other team will hit you in the mouth. Next, when you have to take 4 coaches away from their practices to coach up the special teams, then something is wrong.

Thats not accountablitly. I remember jimmy jonnson firing coaches when they didnt do the job.

Finally, when your assistant head coach garrett hugs rams head coach and smiles, doesnt show anger, hurt, etc, then something is wrong. I think now accountablity starts with jerry jones, and he has to come down on the players and coaches, period.

Enough of this softee stuff, kick some you know what.

Really goes back to the popular topic at the moment, Wade...The teams's demeanor and play is reflected in their coaching...Laidback...Don't need a dictator but you need someone who is going to get them on track...Wade's not the guy

Has a player been benched in the last two years? The coaches wouldn't even bench Julius Jones for MB3 when he was clearly the superior player. Benching players hurts their feelings and makes them angry at you, and you wouldn't want a "family member" angry at you, would you?

I know many Dallas fans hate the "when Jimmy Johnson was here ..." line, but one of the things he did was create tension on the squad. He would cut a guy here or bench a guy there just to send a message to the team. Yeah, he wouldn't cut an Emmitt or Irvin, but he would order the team plane to leave if a player didn't take his commitment to being on time seriously.

Maybe it was hokey, but the average guys on the squad knew that if they weren't one of the hard-working superstars, they could get cut or benched or left behind.

This team needs some creative tension on it. I don't know if Wade Phillips can do that, though.

Good point.

Again, no creative tension - real or manufactured.

only thing worse than an easy head coach is a fake head coach. Wade has to be Wade.

don't get me wrong, Ware is really one of the few bright spots, but his comment "we are 4-3" is exactly the "everything is really not that bad" attitude that Wade's brought in here. Maybe I am reading to much into it, but IMO the team needs to take off the rose colored glasses and start accepting that we ust aren't playing very good football.

How about "we are 0-3 in the last 3 games" ?

Jerry joked about no firing of coaches until after a superbowl win but not sure how you keep Wade after a string of losses where the team looks progressively worse.

There should be a parade of people in Dallas this week to call for Wade & Stewart's head, on a platter...Is there really any reason to keep them on?...Any?

I don't care what anybody says.....it's time to panic. If anyone is done thinking about St. Louis in the Dallas Locker room/plane, they need a wake up call. The team hasn't played to it's potential all year long, and the team is pissing they're chances at the playoffs away week by week.

Well, I know the Cowboys and Wade are family, but that philosophy needs a divorce. It ain't working.
