I watch a lot of the Bills games up here in western NY. They have probably the best Dline in football and now that Ryan is going to be the coach, he's going to go to a 3-4. Jerry Hughes is a guy that shows up on sunday. 20 sacks in the last 2 seasons. He's a 4-3 DE and is a FA. Probably not happy about trying to be a OLB. Just saying

Wondering if he fits Rod's scheme. Seems a little light in the shorts. he's 6-2 254 and seems Rod likes his DE to be in the 265-280 range.

This is exactly the guy that I was thinking of in free agency.

Not the 'splash' of guys being mentioned Like Suh or JPP, just productivity, for a fraction of the cost.

Hughes looks to me like a player coming into his own and one on the rise.

I'm interested.

This would be ideal, but I think he gets franchised.
Doubtful. It will cost 26.7M.

The news comes as a surprise because of Suh's unusual rookie contract that calls for a $26.7 million franchise-tag figure.

It was thought to be a prohibitive number, particularly for an organization scheduled to devote roughly $40 million of the 2015 salary cap to Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford.

Yeah and don't think the price would be as high as Pierre Paul oh and I wouldn't count out Graham from the pigeons, he wants to go back to a 4-3 and what best to have him coke here and go up against him for redemption.

Plus 10 million in dead money from his rookie deal that's almost 25% of the cap.there is no way he gets franchised.

He's a 34 OLB. Would he translate well to a 43? He might but I don't think Baltimore will let him go. He's the backup to Suggs and Suggs is about 123 now so IDK?

Yeah but they have dummervil there too so thats two DE they have under contract. I was looking at him as a potential situational pass rusher.

Another guy, George Johnson . He may seem like another prospect for a situational pass rusher...Draft 1 or 2 DT along with those two guys.
