59 out of 132 games this season have been decided by more than one score. So I wouldn't exactly call it rare.

Your argument is flawed because it presupposes all games decided by more than one score are blowouts. Would you say we were blown out by Atlanta?

Moreover, you're actually making my case. You are showing more than half of the games in this league are decided by less than one score.

Thats what Garrett is preaching and doing. Continue to do things the right way and eventually you'll break through. At 2-6 it's going to be extremely difficult but I too believe that they are doing things the right way and results will eventually play out in our favor.

But the ball is also going the right way for the opposition.

I miss last season.

The Garrett fan club could at least point to the record.

Now we are back to trashing former Cowboys HOF coaches and calling people out for not being able to see what's being built here.

So true.

I'm glad most of the fan base now see this and the only guys really left in Garretts corner anymore are the guys that were brainwashed by Hostile and all of his next Landry BS.

LOL.

There's only one more chance for us to break through. After Tampa, Romo is back.

There's nothing wrong with liking and defending Garrett. I don't think it is feasible to fire him at this point.

However, when you chalk up all of his failures to "bad luck" and can never offer a negative appraisal, you demonstrate a complete inability to think critically.

A really good team set back by misfortune.

A really good team doesn't give up 500 yards of offense to what had been a mediocre Eagles QB and offense.

Reality is with Romo, this was a "good" team. Without him, they are a bad team. How anyone can argue otherwise is puzzling at this point.

Garrett and Hos's fault. Damn them!

I like Garrett.

I would just like him a lot more if he weren't coaching my team.

His approach to football is just not the style I want in 2015.

Maybe in 1995 when all of the rules were different and offensive passing schemes weren't as evolved as they are today.

they lose six in a row and every one thinks they are suddenly going to win out. Good luck with that this team is just not very good.
What, exactly, gave you the impression that "everyone" thinks the 'Boys win out? The OP was giving his opinion that if JG continues to do things the right way, good things will eventually come. Now that might have been a little too optimistic for some, but nowhere did he (or anyone else that I'm aware of) say we were going to win out.

I personally think Garrett is here as long as Romo suits up for Dallas. Jerry will see to that, because he believes that Romo is his best chance at a ring and Romo has spent most of his career with Garrett. The only thing that could come close to derailing Garrett at this time would be Sean Payton.

Me and @cowboys1981 believe we are winning out

Would love to see JJ back away, move Steven to CEO, Garrett to GM, and get Payton as HC.

It's just a rational but idealistic vision.

Garrett is a good manager, he's just not a coach.

So is it the "misfortune" of having to play a bunch of banged up offensive lines and back up tackles? Because that doesn't seem like misfortune to me, unless you're the opponent.
