Um, no. That's not how it works. Blowouts are actually fairly rare in the NFL.
Not against teams that lack talent. It IS "how it works."

Some of you are pathetic. You're the definition of fair weather fans.
We lost our two best players for nearly half the season. We then barely lost 4 of the 6 games by one score. Tony and Dez are good for one more score each game. At least.
Please go find a new team. You're embarrassing yourself. And more importantly me.

How old are you? Your go to phase seems to be "that's not how it works". That's something I expect to hear from an older person.
Okay....
That's not how it works?
Okay....
You are obviously too childish to be telling folks "how it works". At your age it's just being pretentious.
That's pretty funny. Thanks for sharing. How it is applicable to the conversation, IDK other than to prove my point about your pretentiousness.
So what "misfortune" is causing our anemic sack totals?
Would love to see JJ back away, move Steven to CEO, Garrett to GM, and get Payton as HC.
It's just a rational but idealistic vision.
Garrett is a good manager, he's just not a coach.

A fair weather fan wouldn't be here. He or she would've found another team or stopped paying attention. I find it difficult to fault fans who want an honest discussion about what ails the team beyond "rah, rah! Everything is great!".
No one said everything is great but fair weather fans like yourself are the first to jump ship. You don't take the time to understand what's causing the losses. Maybe your too lazy, I don't know but it's not because the team is not talented enough when healthy.

Bro, I've driven all the way from Austin to St. Louis so I could watch the Cowboys play, knowing Brad Johnson was going to start at quarterback. I joined this forum years before you did. I even spent three years as a mod here.
A fair weather fan is someone who abandons his or her team. It isn't someone who acknowledges obvious talent deficiencies or concedes the coaching staff is currently failing. Ignoring problems does not make you a Superfan. It means you've shut off your brain.
It applies because my phrasing apparently hurt your feelings. I'm more than willing to phrase my comment differently so that I don't offend your delicate sensibilities.
