Not really. Truth is, every team has some talent. The Texans have arguably the best defensive player in the NFL, but they're terrible. The Lions have Megatron, and they have the worst record in the NFL.

A fair weather fan wouldn't be here. He or she would've found another team or stopped paying attention. I find it difficult to fault fans who want an honest discussion about what ails the team beyond "rah, rah! Everything is great!".

Would love to see JJ back away, move Steven to CEO, Garrett to GM, and get Payton as HC.

Garrett is a good manager, he's just not a coach.

And hence why Payton will never come back here. You're going to have to give him a ton, if not all, personnel control. That and the fact he's been vocal about how much he and Jerry don't see eye to eye.

When you start your school for how to be a "proper fan" make sure you let everyone know...

Fans pour not only their heart and soul into a team, but also their money, they have a right to voice their frustrations and ask for explanations.

Perhaps the adult thing to do, would be to avoid the topics which obviously don't appeal to your one-sided point of view. Leave those for the people who are open to debate.

Bro, I've driven all the way from Austin to St. Louis so I could watch the Cowboys play, knowing Brad Johnson was going to start at quarterback. I joined this forum years before you did. I even spent three years as a mod here.

A fair weather fan is someone who abandons his or her team. It isn't someone who acknowledges obvious talent deficiencies or concedes the coaching staff is currently failing. Ignoring problems does not make you a Superfan. It means you've shut off your brain.
