Teams have a good blueprint for playing us now. It's going to get harder. Thankfully Dak is playing better to offset some of that. We have one 'easy' game left on the schedule in the Browns Sunday. We end the season in Philly and still have the NFC East as well as three of the AFC Central (all in the next three weeks). Then throw in the Vikings, Bucs and Lions.

We should be favored to win all those games though.

Everyone has a plan until Zeke hits them in the mouth

This is where our coaching staff needs to show why they are here and earn their paychecks. To get the team prepared for all what is upcoming.
First up, do not overlook the Browns.
The coaching just got harder. But they do a very good job of this team keeping cool no matter what.

Teams can have a blueprint all they want, but even with that only a few teams left on the schedule even have a shot at doing anything with it. We should be favored in all but 2 games remaining.

Exactly right gameplan all you want, if you don't have the players to execute at a level higher then us, back to the drawing board sort to speak!

While that is true it's highly encouraging that we won against that blue print. given the chance to work on it in the upcoming weeks will only make us more prepared for that. I say bring it on!

Love the fun and entertaining read of Power Rankings and the Boys have taken over the Seahawks and calmly moved into 2nd place !

The chemistry and camaraderie on this team is something else I don't know about you but i absolutely Love this team.

Keep it up Boys sky's the limit

Enjoy the entertaining read !
Great article and thanks for posting and sharing with the rest of the board. Makes us proud to be Cowboy fans and how far the Cowboys have come since last year..

Really, that blueprint only 'works' when you've got an impact DL and two probowl-quality Safeties. And even then I put 'works' in quotes because we still won playing a relatively mistake-filled game by our standards. MIN is probably the only team left on the schedule who'd be able to take advantage of that blueprint, and even they rely on bringing their pressure through the A gap.

The blueprint for beating us is going to have to include scoring on our defense. Whether by big plays or by long, sustained drives.

You meant to say he's playing worse right?

The blueprint is to force Dak to throw longer passes and its not even new although the consistent blitzing and use of pressure is more so. You're going to see a lot more of it now. Wash and Philly are going to be tough outs. I don't think Min has the offense to stay with us and that's what hurt Wash...the play of Cousins.

I don't think you have to have special players just get good pressure and be able to mix up who is coming. That's not taking anything from Philly who does excel on defense. It certainly made their job easier with their personnel. So I do get your point about quality personnel.

If we win the east and the skins finish last, the curse will complete its fourth or fifth year where a team wins it and then finishes last the following year. Not sure but it seems like the last finishes first the next year too, it's kooky
My skins fan friend was chirping before the season started and I told him about the curse and now we are watching it play out

I'm saying the Dak you're seeing now is better than the one you saw in the first game despite his having problems with Philly. He did have a bad game accuracy wise but I think he's seeing the field better now. He didn't know what he does now even though he may still be having problems processing it all quickly enough. Before teams played conservatively and his talent was such he beat them. Now they are coming after him trying to disrupt him. He just has to continue to play well enough to beat it.

Even with having the "book" on us, you still have to stop it. You sell out to stop the run, then the passing game should be open. Stop the run and Dez, then Beasley, Witten, and T-Will should be open (or Zeke out the backfield). Stop all that and Dak may pull it down and run.
