This is where our coaching staff needs to show why they are here and earn their paychecks. To get the team prepared for all what is upcoming.
First up, do not overlook the Browns.
The coaching just got harder. But they do a very good job of this team keeping cool no matter what.
Don't over look anyone. Co-worker, fellow Cowboys fan, and I were just talking about NOT overlooking the Browns.

Wow we have the 2nd best record in the league without Romo and with starters getting hurt almost every game.

The blueprint is to force Dak to throw longer passes and its not even new although the consistent blitzing and use of pressure is more so. You're going to see a lot more of it now. Wash and Philly are going to be tough outs. I don't think Min has the offense to stay with us and that's what hurt Wash...the play of Cousins.

I don't think you have to have special players just get good pressure and be able to mix up who is coming. That's not taking anything from Philly who does excel on defense. It certainly made their job easier with their personnel. So I do get your point about quality personnel.

We'll see, soon enough. I have no doubt we're going to get a steady diet of blitzes and run blitzes again to see what works. That PHI game, though, could very easily have ended up very bad for PHI had Dak just not been as off as he was. Go in 17-10 at halftime, and the route might have been on for them. Some of Dak being off was the pressure, obviously, but it sure felt to me like it was more than just that.

WAS did a fair amount of blitzing Dak in their game already, too. I've felt all along that they're the real contender for us in the NFCE, anyway. We'll see what happens if they get hot, but that tie sure was a blessing this weekend.

Even with having the "book" on us, you still have to stop it. You sell out to stop the run, then the passing game should be open. Stop the run and Dez, then Beasley, Witten, and T-Will should be open (or Zeke out the backfield). Stop all that and Dak may pull it down and run.

Run blitzing and blitzing.....the lines blur.
