Before I start Romo Ball is not in anyway a negative comment towards Tony . Air Coryell could also be used as well as Smash mouth over power running for anyone who may take offense .

Im sure hoping we go with the power running and turn back time again to 2016 that was some great football to watch last week and covers all our weaknesses.

Romo Ball put up a bunch of meaningless stats and got us beat 3 games in a row .

But guys like Jeff Cavanaugh and analytics nerds think passing is the only way to win!

I gotta say given some of the stuff I’ve seen this week on the run game options, I had no idea Kellen was that creative in the run game. I called him Martz 2.0 because I figured all he knew was pass attack since he’s leaned on that a bit too much

People keep touting the importance of the running game, but it's only worth sticking with if it's working.

It's the reason the Seahawks lost to Dallas in the playoffs a year ago. They kept running Chris Carson and other running plays up the gut even when it generated only gains of 1-2 yards each time, or outright stuffed for no gain.

To me— it all starts up front this week. Zeke needs to be fed consistently. But that only opens things up for some play-action strikes down the field against a mediocre Philly secondary

QB and WR1 both have injury concerns, so if what we did against the Rams wasn't just a one-off, that would be exactly what this team needs right now.

Until last Sunday, the offense hadn't had a lot of success with the run-heavy approach.

Losing it was 100% on the HC. We used the same formula that’s given us success against the rams. And look what happened. It allows the Defense to rest and pumps them up when we are ahead because it makes the opposing offense 1 dimensional. For some reason our OC (a ex-QB) and our HC (a ex-QB) got with our QB and it got pass heavy. Even when we were moving the ball they abandoned it. Elliot has 70 or 80 yards in the first half but losing by 3 and abandon it. I wonder if we knew we could simply go back to this formula later in the season and win games so we let Dak throw it all season. Or if Daks finger injury has anything to do with it.
