PPF: Tyron Smith is still one of the best in the game

Lol…..you know how many games hes played the last two years?

Hes not worth his salary and will be hurt any day now.

Depending on tyron is a fools errand. We have his replacement on the roster. We could easily go out and sign a high end guard for what we are paying him. A guy that will actually play.

If he makes it the whole season i will eat crow gladly.
Funny how rankings matter, or not, based on opinions.
I'll keep the top ranked pass blocker in the lineup until he needs a few
games to rest up. His salary is VERY team friendly, so, you're just wrong there.

I get it though, Roy. You always want new blood. Dude has been around forever.
At least you don't have to complain about Zeke anymore... lol

Tyron is a freaking superhero and y'all goobs need to stop your ridiculousness and respect.
Yeah, he's lost tread on the tires and yes, he's missed a lot of games the past few seasons.

He's still an entire chapter of the Cowboys Offensive Line in history and still a wrecking shop to this very day.
I tip a 40 to his presence.
You should too.
Does he need to go? The time is coming. Let's see how this season plays out.

Brandon Cooks 29
Dante Fowler 29
Stephon Gilmore 33
Johnathan Hankins 31
Jaron Kearse 29
Demarcus Lawrence 31
Zach Martin 32
Dak Prescott 30

But I read he was finished even when healthy a few weeks ago, goes to show how disconnected from reality some people are.
Also, they needed to get a kicker. Schoonmaker would have a redshirt because he was injured. They reached for Schoonmaker and should have drafted a guard. They should have signed a veteran olineman. Throw in the constant insults toward Jerry and Stephen. Look at the scoreboard now.

Tyron is playing well, of course. That has never been the issue. The problem lately has been reliability. This team depends on him

If Tyron can play 14 games it will be the first time in 8 years. Of course, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. He is a huge contributor to the security of the QB and RB

Solid mix of vets IMO. And all at the positions that you can play with age.

The question was not whether or not he is still a top OT. WHEN HE IS ON THE FIELD.

That was/is the question, how many games will he play? Hasn't played a full season since 2015.

Hope the Cowboys' supply of cortisone and tape holds out until February...

We have some crazy fans, brother. He's playing like a top-5 tackle while not even making top-10 money, and some want to get rid of him??

It's unconscionable how the NFL seems to be targeting him for holding calls. At least half the calls they put on him are BS!

I remember feeling the same way about Big E in his later years, just turns out he was savvy enough to compensate for the age (and car injuries!)

The guy being labeled a bust by giant fans?

He's had his moments. Anyone labeling him a bust is just ill he isn't Micah Parsons.

He was all rookie team last year, wore Dak out in our 2nd game with them last yr, and won a defensive player of the week award.
