Practice moved to Southlake Carroll

Evidently it's a little too cold outside to practice at Valley Ranch, so the Cowboys will move their Wednesday workout to Southlake Carroll.

I can understand if it's rainy or snowy or a combination of the two. But cold? Really?

It's at least the third time the Cowboys have moved their practice to the Dragons' indoor facility. They have also practiced at Coppell High School, Standridge Stadium in Carrollton and Cowboys Stadium.

I've said it before, I'll say it again - the Cowboys need to build a new indoor facility. Wednesday is the big work day of the week, especially in the running game, and it is time-wasting to get on a bus for practice.

Its too cold huh? I imagine its going to feel great in Washingtog at the end of the season. I laughed at this when Sean Payton did this a couple of seasons ago. Now it doesn't seem so funny lol.

Whoever made this decision needs to grow a pair, IMO.

I can understand the injury aspect but goodness. I guess it won't go into play this week against the Chargers or even against the Saints but I would think you would want to get as much play as possible in cold weather conditions so you can atleast get use to it.

Yeah I deleted that pretty much right after I posted it because I can see the decision being made on the injury aspect. I still would have it outside though, tell the backs to stay warm, its not like we are going to be practicing at full speed anyway.

are you guys just looking to complain?

They spent everyday outside last week and it was cold, colder than in the northeast.

I dont think its the cold that is the problem, we had some rain and maybe the field is really sloppy out there so they are choosing to practice on the turf.

The Cowboys play at home in the dome, so *****ing about not practicing in cold is stupid.

Wade has done this before for practices on Wednesday and the weather is a factor.

Wednesdays are the days they install the bulk of the gameplan. You need guys focused on the job at hand versus the weather.

Yeah, yeah, I know, they need to toughen up. But I'd rather they focus on the mental part of the upcoming game than the physical part.

This is football if you can't play in the cold you need to retire.

Read my post again. I don't think it's about playing in the cold.

actually this is practice. And they play on turf, so practicing on the turf should be more accurate no?

and again, they practiced outside everyday in the cold.

You really need to stop injecting thought, reasoning, and common sense into these hissy fit fests.

Maybe I should change my post to if you can't handle the harsh conditions of football then retire.

So, whats wrong with using the damn stadium - with the doors and roof and everything open so these guys can learn to focus and play in the cold which they obviously did not do in GB or NY and will have to do every damn year a few times.

Nobody in this thread has ever played a down of football in their lives, apparently.

Do you guys have any idea how much it sucks to practice when it's cold? You aren't moving around like a game. It gets cold.

On top of that, cold weather = weakened immune systems = sick players...come on guys.

Who is *****ing? People said they would prefer them play in the cold. That's it. No one is bashing anyone or *****ing so what are you talking about? Its December. Its not getting any warmer anytime soon. I feel if you practice in the cold it will benefit you when you play in the colder later in the season or hell even against the Chargers this week.

I praticed in the cold in middle school, high school and college and yea I hated it no doubt but who gives a damn what the players think? I mean i'm not one of these guys who bashes the coaching staff but don't come in here with the dumb *** "You've never played football.." argument because its tiresome and overused.
