DENVER – Observations and standouts from the Cowboys-Broncos outdoor joint practice at the Broncos' practice facility:

  • Micah Parsons is apparently hard to block for the Broncos, too. Parsons has wrecked many of practices in Oxnard and he carried that over into Denver as well. Parsons pulled up many times before getting to the Denver QBs, including starter Russell Wilson.
  • Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb connected multiple times during team drills, continuing the strong practice work they were putting together before the team traveled to Denver. Prescott found Lamb for a 25-yard touchdown on a post route, with Lamb beating cornerback Michael Ojemudia for the score.
  • As expected, things got chippy in the second hour of practice when both teams lined up against each other for 11-on-11 work. A few post-play shoves ensued, particularly among offensive and defensive linemen. All the scuffles quickly dispersed. As Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said before practice, "We don't want the fights. We're not here for fights. I don't view it as toughness."

Sounds better for the boys than the other thread about the joint practices.
Glad to hear dak/Lamb are clicking.

because trolls post fake facts see two bad plays make the entire thing look bad. Untrue and it trolls and haters that make posts..they cant wait until bad play happens jump all over it but when good play happens, they say its just practice..no matter what a troll hating fan will put the team down every chance they get.

You can have the best of the best at your offensive skill positions, but if the offensive line can't block... your offense with struggle. So how did our defensive line become a non-worry some group, yet our offensive line gives me the heebie-jeebies?

if we can't run the ball then you need a great QB to keep drives alive.

It's all about the source really. This was from DC.com and the other was from a Broncos site.

That said, it is good to hear perspectives from both sides so that Cowboys fans are not stuck in an "it's all good" echo chamber. :D

I'm ready to shut down Micah for any of these practices and preseason games until it matters.

Nothing to gain at this point.

Put him back in his pod until practice begins for week 1. :muttley:

Handsy DBs and LBers will have a long season of yellow flags if they do not clean up technique.

Seems to me everyone not on the company pay roll is a troll. Guess I been a troll for 26 years. Gonna stay one until I see a real team out there. If it's this year I'll be the happiest fan in here. If not?? Truth will keep rolling .....and LMAO...trolling... in the truth

Yep, different perspectives are good to have.

No Excuses!!!!!!!!!!!
Burrows made it to the SB with probably one of the worst offlines in the NFL!
40 million a year to one and 20 million to the other bud of his monster head!
Prove it or get the heck out of dodge enough of the excuses and crying about how life isn't perfect!!!

P.S. No I did not attend the Ranching football academy!!
