I find it very difficult to get too riled up about anything to do with the practice squad.
I am glad that McKeon is back because he truly is a useful piece. He was the main guy I wanted back.
I wanted Land to stay because he has some instincts for getting to the QB but he is a loooong way from being able to help a team. He needs a lot of physical development. Like years of it. Indy will have to keep him on their 53 now, so they better hope he can do something this season. The Cowboys liked him I think but wow, is the edge/DE room loaded in Dallas. There was just no room for him on the active roster of the Cowboys. They had to try to sneak him through.
Like someone in this thread has already said… other teams know how packed the Dallas edge rushers are and I’m sure they made a point to keep up with who Dallas cut. It is just a byproduct of having great depth and a defensive coordinator who has proven he consistently finds talented defenders. Other teams want a cut of that if possible,
Nothing much could’ve been done about it.
Harlow is a very nice signing and in case of injury to Biadasz, he would be useful for sure. Better backup C than Dallas has had recently, IMO.
Not surprising to see a couple of NFC East teams claim guys… especially the Giants who really have no idea about what kind of offense they’re going to run into in a couple of weeks. I fully expected them to try to get an offensive player, and they did. Wink Martindale will be picking his brain soon.
If Washington really needed a LB, I think they’ll be disappointed with Cox.
Other than McKeon, Land and Harlow, the PS is just whatever for me.
