I like adding Harlow but he'll need to learn the blocking schemes here. Get ready to see Hoffman get called up as the backup center for week one at least.

Two spots left. Wondering if they are outside signings, or do the Cowboys not give up on Simi Fehoku or Tyler Coyle after all?

Could they sign Jason Peters to their practice squad until he gets in game shape if they wanted to?

I find it very difficult to get too riled up about anything to do with the practice squad.

I am glad that McKeon is back because he truly is a useful piece. He was the main guy I wanted back.

I wanted Land to stay because he has some instincts for getting to the QB but he is a loooong way from being able to help a team. He needs a lot of physical development. Like years of it. Indy will have to keep him on their 53 now, so they better hope he can do something this season. The Cowboys liked him I think but wow, is the edge/DE room loaded in Dallas. There was just no room for him on the active roster of the Cowboys. They had to try to sneak him through.

Like someone in this thread has already said… other teams know how packed the Dallas edge rushers are and I’m sure they made a point to keep up with who Dallas cut. It is just a byproduct of having great depth and a defensive coordinator who has proven he consistently finds talented defenders. Other teams want a cut of that if possible,

Nothing much could’ve been done about it.

Harlow is a very nice signing and in case of injury to Biadasz, he would be useful for sure. Better backup C than Dallas has had recently, IMO.

Not surprising to see a couple of NFC East teams claim guys… especially the Giants who really have no idea about what kind of offense they’re going to run into in a couple of weeks. I fully expected them to try to get an offensive player, and they did. Wink Martindale will be picking his brain soon.

If Washington really needed a LB, I think they’ll be disappointed with Cox.

Other than McKeon, Land and Harlow, the PS is just whatever for me.

Any intel on this Harlow?
His dad played for the Pats. Played both right and left tackle at Oregon State. Too short armed and unathletic to continue at tackle and was drafted to move inside. I think he took practice reps at center with O.S. but never played inside until he moved to the NFL. He had two stints with the Falcons so DQ is at least familiar with the player. He also knows Danny Dimes favorite color which will be huge on opening day........

Then that’s what I would do. I don’t think they have a backup there.
I don’t think they will go that direction. Richards and Waletzko when healthy will play tackle. Chuma, Bass, Harlow will play inside

Eight active linemen and three more on the practice squad, plus they are probably going to bring Edoga back as a potential IR stash. Don't see any need right now to go get Peters.

I would give Bumper Pool a chance. All time leading tackler at Arkansas with 441 and a Texas boy. Plus the name is pretty cool.

I don’t see a right tackle among that group.
