I believe that Kiffin tried to implement more zone when he first took over with Marinelli joining his staff. However, Marinelli scraped it primarily because several of the corners we had couldn't do it well. Two of those corners were Carr and Claiborne.

You keep pointing to the last three seasons, but not looking at the reasons our predominant defense was man.

Really wish Irving was there to start giving Taco tips on how to use his size and length... I'm starting to think Tacos ceiling is as a 5-8 sack run stopper. Not an insult to Taco, every defense needs good run stoppers.

Moore is definitely one to watch. He had rare athleticism coming out of college. He's in the class of guys that are so physically talented that they can produce even if they're knuckleheads.

You guys aren't being fair to Taco. He is a rookie in his first padded practice. If he was beating our OL I would be worried about the OL. He has won some battles and going against Tyron and Collins is making him much better. Remember Ware and rookie Tyron?

I think Moore and Irving will be our best edge rushers this year. I don't expect much out of Taco and Tapper.

I've given up on this guy. It's always something with him. He will be a free agent after this year and I don't care if he posts 13 sacks I don't want him back. Ready to turn the page and see what Tapper or Moore could do.
