The odds are we’ll be addressing the OL this evening. A fat guy that can block isn’t the most exciting choice with our first pick but it’s a huge need. A WR or edge rusher is a possibility but I think we’ll be addressing those positions in the second and third rounds.

With the Cowboys this is generally true, however one thing they have been fairly good at is the draft.
Exhibit A : Parsons and an extra 3rd to boot!

But who besides Parsons lately? I like CeeDee but he has not even been our best receiver since we drafted him in the first round 3 years ago.

They have not been perfect by any means and the draft is a crap shoot.
I like the Diggs pick and Pollard as well.
Shultz has played well.

Diggs was a 2nd round pick ..... We pick well in the later rounds but our picks in the first day have been questionable aside from Parsons

I really like him, but drafting Lindenbaum means we really want to be all-in on a zone-based scheme and I'm not sure this coaching staff is there. In the right run scheme, he's going to be a Pro Bowler IMO.
