I give Elliott until just before cutdowns, and then I'm trading as high as a 4th to get another RB. Negotiations off, latest offer is the deal. If he doesn't show up, recoup salary and have team lawyers file to recoup this years prorated signing bonus from him. He can write a check to the team, and negotiations can continue next year or he can accept latest offer.

If it doesn't look like a deal will get done next offseason, I look to trade him.

I wouldn’t even trade for a RB with how Pollard looks.
