Alot of us just feel that McFadden is a poor NFL back, and his performance in recent seasons suggest that. Now that may prove to be a product of his circumstances, but alot of us dont want to just assume that.

Personally I consider Randle a capable NFL back because Ive seen it here. Right now I dont consider McFadden a capable NFL back, and wont until he shows me otherwise

Not for me but I just wanted to ask; do mean fumbled once in one game?
Whitehead has fumbled twice so far in the preseason....losing one.

Does the 2 fumbles (one recovery) include his bobble against SF?

It must, because otherwise no one on here seems to realize that it was Harwell that put the second fumbled punt on the ground against San Diego and not Whitehead.

Well, I wanted to cut Weeden last year and make Vaughan the primary backup, so you can see where I stand. My reasoning for that was that we weren't likely to win with Weeden, so if we're likely to lose anyway, why not give Vaughan a chance to see if he can show anything.

I feel essentially the same way this year, except that I did think Vaughan showed enough that Dallas would be taking a risk by cutting him thrn, while I don't feel they would be if he plays like he did against San Francisco in these last two games.

If we're going to keep Weeden again, I'd rather use the extra spot elsewhere and give Vaughan one more year of seasoning, but on the PS this time. Of course, it he steps up his play again, then I'll be saying keep him on the 53,

Sunday, he wasn't even the best Dallas backup QB on the field and he has to be that for me to think Dallas should keep him.

This is all Orton's fault.

I wonder how big Lucky's hands are, because he has struggled catching punts AND passes cleanly. I know he's only 170 lbs soaking wet but Steve Smith was not much bigger when he came out and he has hands like a vise.

Lucky is listed at 5'9" and 163 pounds. He looks as small as that or even smaller. He just really looks frail but lightning quick.

I know Smith was a muscled up lil dude with a totally different build. Smith likely has a serious history of Roid usage considering all his rage issues.
He ended up at 195 so he didn't stay that small for long.

Anyways it's just my take that he is probably not the guy this season.
I know he is a lot of people's camp darling but I don't see him as having NFL ability yet. Maybe in 15 pounds.

No
I think the ball has to hit the ground to be a fumble.
The bobble was earlier in the game....I think.
