Pre-Snap Shenanigans

Was anyone else concerned by this on offense? A few times Romo had to almost completely get Bennett lined up, of course we had to burn a timeout the one time. There were other times when he had to get other receivers lined up as well.

Was it him making presnap adjustments? That's what it looked like some of the time. Other times it just looked sloppy and disorganized. Did any of our intrepid Dallas reporters manage to ask about that?

They did seem to have issues early on. They seem to correct the problem as the game wore on. I'm sure Garrett was talking with them on the sideline to help correct these mistakes.

I definetely was but it is something that once they get down will only make us harder to defend so it is worth it in the long run.

We are going to be a team that throws a lot of formations at people and what scares me is nobody really knows exactly how the defenses are going to react and line up.

But yes it is a concern and something we definetely need to get squared away.

I can't say the Cowboys do this. In the huddle we always got 3 calls. One was the play. The other 2 were audibles that would cause motion or shifts. There's a chance players were thinking about the audibles and lined up there instead of where they would be for the called play. That's just jitters. Not a team in the NFL doesn't have guys do that once in a while. It did look discombobulated though.

Not concerned at all. It's the first game of the season, and they were on the road. I'm sure some of it was Romo changing things at the line. I feel a lot better about ironing out some wrinkles after starting 1-0.

I'm sure there are plenty of teams out there that didn't have to burn any timeouts to get lined up properly that are 0-1 right now.

I agree plus Raymond James was ROCKIN loud as well when we had the ball.

I like this.Romo is moving around and changing everything like Peyton.I wish the defense would do this now.

Looked to me like Romo changed to a different play and not the called audible.

As long as they get the plays off and make plays like they did yesterday then I don't worry about things like that.

On one hand, it looked Benny Hillish... on the other I was watching Romo orchestrate it all and straighten it out while being mindful of the clock. (and not getting a single penalty for any of it I might add) and thinking we may have to keep that Romo guy around a little longer. ;)

I think there was a little confusion early on but it got worked out. They came out with a no huddle and it was totally different than anything they ran in preseason.
