Well, to be fair, there are only so many story-lines that can come out.

Test yourself: Try to think of an original story that you'd be interesting in seeing, that hasn't already come out yet in some way, shape or form.

I think it looks pretty damn good. Plenty of decent actors, and there should be some nice old-school gore, with producer Robert Rodriguez.

It HAS to be better than the Aliens vs Predator franchise, right???

In doing some research for my novel, I came across a quotation somewhere that there are only around 35 plots. After that, you're just adding in twists and hybridizing the plots.

The contra to that is that there are two plots in all of the world; somebody goes on a journey, or a stranger comes to town.
