Predict Amari Cooper's Stats vs Titans

2 for 17 yards... we are going to blame Cooper for his inability to get open.

with the qb in Dallas, forcing the ball to any receiver is a recipe for int's.

how about a novel concept?

Throw it to the open guy be it TE, back, or receiver.
people say this like guys are getting open regularly and these plays aren't designed based on 2 or 3 reads.
they will have plays designed for cooper to get the ball and if he isn't open that will be an issue... the same one we've faced all year.

QB friendly means exactly that. Read 1 or 2 being open and there for the taking.

I'm not going to try to predict his stats, but I do predict that Dallas' first play will be the play we ran against the Giants to Tavon Austin. Play-action fake to Elliott, double-move on the outside by Cooper, deep throw by Prescott.

I actually think the first pass to Cooper will be a WR screen. Just to get him going with an easy pass. With his RAC ability, it could be for a big gain.

Then people will complain it doesn't count, because it was a dink and dunk pass by Dak.

I need 3 fantasy points to clinch my win for the week...surely hes capable of that...had I started any of my other bye week flex options this would be wrapped up. I guess I like drama....134-136, thanks to the late Michael Thomas TD in the Saints/Rams game. Cooper can go for 1 for 20 yards, 2 for 10 yards, 3 for negative yards and get a pass from me this week.

Titans rank #3 in passing yards allowed (Dallas #2 overall). Titans are #2 in total yards allowed (Dallas is #1).

That being said, I think Cooper will get 7 catches for 89 yards and a TD.

I actually think Cole gets his as a result of the attention Cooper gets. Zeke doesn't get 100yards (Titans #8 in rushing yards allowed; Dallas is #14 in rushing yards gained so far).

Dallas wins 23-17. Cooper will get progressively better as the year wears on and Dak gets more familiar with his skillset.

Thoughts?
3 catches for 24 yards. Agree Beasley could benefit the most, but if I'm the Titans I'd make Dak prove that he can even hit Cooper before I start to change how I play Beasley.

4 catches 45 yards

Nothing too crazy; probably like 4 catches, maybe a TD. Maybe a couple sacks and TFLs. Maybe a few TD passes. An extra point or two.

If he get a TD it will be from a long way out. They will double him in the red zone. I will say 5 for 65 yards and a TD.

But whats more important is what he can do for the rest of the WRs. Could free up Beez or Gallup. Maybe open lanes for Elliot. But I still think the titans start by stacking the box.

I see Zeke going off too. Zeke and Gallup will be the greatest benefactors of having Cooper on the field.

Cooper : 4 catches, 51 yards, 1 TD
Zeke: eats (multiple TDs via run or catch)
Gallup: 3 catches, 88 yards, 1 TD

Agree with you on all fronts. I think the OLine is going to come out with an extra burst of energy and motivation, at least for this game.

Might see a few flashes of the 2016 offense tonight. *fingers crossed*

The only thing I'm going to predict is that Prescott is going to force a lot of throws to Cooper. The Jones boys feel a need to prove to the fans that Cooper is the playmaker we've sorely missed at WR...
