Predict Our First Offensive Play

Trying to kill some time on this Friday night and still celebrating the great news about Zeke. What do you guys think will be the first offensive play we run?

I predict it will be a dive play to Zeke.

Knowing Linehan we'll come out in the shotgun and throw a dig to Beasley.

Something that's not conservative. Dak is allowed to shine on the first play of the game and does. It be cool to see Switzer in there and have the first catch of the year, but that's damn near impossible.

Best time to pass is often 1st down especially against this defense. Based on the Giants skill personnel on defense, we're going to rely heavy on Twill, Beas, Witt, and the other TE's backs all game in the passing game. With that being said, DEZ BRYANT like Irvin is still the ignition to this offense and will open up everything else. He was completely a non-factor in our only two (real) losses last year and he CAN beat Jenkins. The sometimes failure of our offensive coaches is finding creative ways to get Dez involved. With all that said, I expect us to set the tone early and pound Zeke on the first play.

Dak is completely mentally prepared to tear apart that defense this year. I think he's gonna have Collins suckin' eggs by the 2nd quarter.

Play action pass to Beasley from the slot position. Go Cowboys

Direct snap to Zeke. Dak fakes that he has the ball and rolls to the right. Zeke comes around the left tackle and lofts the ball over the collapsing Giants to Dez.

Immediate 6.

Giants forfeit .

My other guess is that based on last year's difficulties and this year's criticism, we'll come right out with Dak throwing a deep seam in the middle of the field - 22 yard gain and a first down to Witten or something, showing the Giants "yep, we throwin'."

Play action deep. Take a shot. Get the crowd going and misdirect off of the Giants keying on Zeke.
