i started a thread like this after last weeks game. I asked at the time who this team can possibly beat outside of their division. And I had them splitting the division games...and they would be lucky to win 6 games.

How could anyone objectively look at this team and predict a winning record at that time?

Simply amazing.

This defense is absolutely putrid.

This team will have a top 5 draft pick.

They will beat the crap out of the division teams....exactly what kept Garrett here for as long as he was and kept Jerry out of public ridicule

They will finish 9-7, win the division, and host the 12-4 Rams in the playoffs and get absolutely smoked.

Even if they pull off the miracle of beating the Rams, they will go on the road and get smacked yet again.

Another year of not as much as SNIFFING a NFCCG.

That's best case.

Theres no tanking for Trevor btw.

Theres others that are way ahead of Dallas there...but they are at least in rebuilding mode. It's not as pathetic

I think it is imperative for this team to get that top 5 pick and honestly, this defense is so bad they probably need the #1 pick. I have never been supportive of tanking a season on purpose but lucky for me they have the defense to legitimately earn the #1 pick. The problem is the offense will put up enough points to potentially ruin that.

I’m not even sure we can beat Washington or the Giants at this point. I was gonna be optimistic and say 10-6, then it went down to 6-10, and now I’m at around 4-12, maybe 3-13. Thoughts ?

Well said I don’t think we can beat anyone in the NFC least

2-14, gifting them another win because I refuse to believe we are the absolute worst in the league

I was on board with 10-6 at the start of the season

but now it's

8-8.....possibly even 7-9

Due to our crap division (possibly the worst in Dallas Cowboys division opponent history) , that'll probably get us a home playoff game.
Then we'll see from there.
