I just think the emotional roller-coaster that has been this season will take its toll on the players. They know the season is over and will be playing some legit defenses. I would be surprised if they remain as competitive the rest of the season as they were in the 0-7 stretch. If they win a game it's probably Washington just because they might be able to get geared up for a division rival.

The thing is, several of the teams we are playing aren't really in much better shape. So, what we will probably see is more play not to lose in attempt to take advantage of the desperation of other teams and salvage some semblance of competitiveness.

It might be better to win a couple of games the more I think about it. If we do lose out, a top pick would be BPA which will not include any QB's in that.

If Dallas picks around 8-10, that sets up better for a first round QB IMO. That might force their hand into drafting a QB instead of getting a CB or LB in the top 5.

I don't like any of the top 3 coming out really and certainly not the high 2nd round ones..........they look like projects to me.

ADD:

If we do lose out and get the top pick.......grab Bosa and don't look back :)

I'll say they split vs Washington. Lose to GB and Buffalo and maybe beat the Jets. So either 4-12 or 5-11

I really hope we lose and other teams win. The only thing I even care about the rest of the season is getting a top pick. It would be unlikely we'd make the playoffs (after losing to Carolina) even if we did have Romo. Our playoff chances are now currently extremely slim and even if we somehow did make it, our chances of winning a Super Bowl with Cassell are nonexistent. For this reason, I don't see how any Cowboys fan would wish for us to win any more games. We need to prepare for our future. Going 0-5 would not only shore up a top 3 pick (maybe the top), but it would also mean a strong possibility of a significant change in coaching at all levels. We need to start preparing for the future by cutting bait with old and oft-injured players, establishing our core youth, and bringing in the right scheme and leadership to guide the next generation of the Cowboys. That doesn't mean we still can't compete for a Super Bowl with Romo while continuing to rebuild for the future. Dez and the O-line are going nowhere. That's pretty much all we have the moment and probably all Romo needs. What we can't do is go "all in" to win a Super Bowl in the Romo era. It might not happen. But I don't see it being much more likely to happen if we "go all in" versus if we rebuild. And rebuilding will hopefully prevent another era of darkness that we saw after the Aikman era.

I think the Cowboys will win the rest of their games and make the playoffs. Then, they will go on a run and win the NFC and play the Pats in the SB.

I will be rooting for us to win every game, can't bring my self to do otherwise.
Though if we lose, it won't bother me as much, knowing it will bring us a better draft pick.

If we do win any games.
I hope we do beat GB, and of course the Commanders. But somehow I find myself pulling for the Commanders to take the divison if we lose to them.
That at least would kill the Eagles and Giants fans as well.

Last time we won a game Romo didn't start was 2010 and John Kitna was our QB.

2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015....................ZERO WINS WITHOUT ROMO.....................half a decade fellas.

Don't see why this pattern should change....................maybe somebody will forfeit and give us a W, other than that I see no wins at all.

final season record..........3-13

I don't know why people think the Cowboys can win a game without Romo when they couldn't before. All the teams we play have a legitimate shot at the playoffs. And we won't play like we have nothing to lose because when we get down we'll kick FGs.

If we win one it will be this coming week in Washington. We would lose to most High School teams in AT &T stadium and the Packers will beat us in GB.

Been a Cowboy fan for 45 years and will never, ever consider not rooting for us to win every single game.

can't believe that - the last year of Landry - I was wanting them to lose - to get Aikman

I saw the Ice bowl
