I'm going to hold off on my prediction till after the draft and free agency is over. A lot could change between now and then, but my opinion right now if no changes were made would be 8-8 with the offensive line being the main reason we struggle. If a few key moves are made then I could see 10-6.

8-8. 9-7 if we have a good season. 7-9 if we don't. Romo is gonna have to win me over fast to predict anything more.

8-8 - we'll go as far as the OL and the genius take us. We can't build an entire offense on trying to hit TO on a bomb anymore.

How have we gotten a LOT less talented?

RW missed most of last year, and even when he played he was a liability, so his being gone will have no negative impact.

TO...we will certainly miss his on-the-field production, but gain some with the vast reduction in drama/improved team chemistry. Hopefully RW gets his feet and picks up the slack to some degree.

Canty? He will be missed, but he certainly wasn't a key cog in the defense. There will not be a great drop off in production by whomever replaces him.

Killa? I'm hoping he comes back after finding the pastures aren't that much greener. He would be missed on ST's.

Zach T? Brookings is an upgrade.

Tank? No comment necessary...

Henry? we will miss him to a degree, but he was destined to be a backup/role player this next year if he would have stayed. I don't feel we're losing a lot by letting him go plus, we got Kitna in return. Kitna is a huge upgrade over BJ. The chances of your backup QB having to play are pretty great in any given year, so Kitna's presence will more than offset Henry's absence, IMO.

Did I miss anybody of significance?

We're not through with player additions yet, either. We may still make a FA acquisition or two, and the draft is yet to come. TO's on-field production will be our biggest loss. Other than that, I don't really see how we will be a lot less talented. Heck, we may be even stronger by the time all is said and done! JMHO.

As it stands right now, the team is less talented than it was last year, that is a fact. I'm not saying we are done in free agency and we won't draft any good players, I'm just going off of what we know right now.

Previously I had said 13+ wins. Now I say anywhere between 8-8 and 10-6. The playoffs will be difficult to make. Probably the least confident I've been about this team in quite awhile.

TO has nothing to do with a succesful season. We will go 10-6 with a playoff berth.

Don't know how anyone can see us winning more than 10 games. We're going 8-8, starting out bad but actually finishing well this time around. Lots of youth will be on this team and they'll need half a season to get up to game speed. Our cupcake camps won't help our start with a new philosophy, players in new roles and a lot of young talent. But this team gets better as the season goes on and regardless Wade is done because he doesn't know how to get us to the playoffs or win one in the tournament.

I'll wait until after the draft and after all the free agent signings. Then after watching the pre-season I'll give an accurate attempt at a record. But for anyone to predict that without even going thru the draft or mini camps is bad.

6-10.

That would prove to the world that locker room chemistry is just a lame excuse for losing games.

We might win 8 games. Without T.O, Romo is no better than Alex Smith.. Marc Bulger, Delhomme, Palmer, Ryan, Brees.. all promising QB's with potential who need a true standout reciever to elevate them.

Where do you all get that Romo is some championship winning QB thats going to lift this team to a winning season?

He could barely do it with the #2 TD catching reciver of ALL-TIME, and that same reciever is above #5 in virtually every category, ALL TIME. The ONLY UPGRADE POSSIBLE IS RANDY MOSS. hahahaha, a highschool quarterback could probably go out and have a decent season throwing to Williams, Owens, and Witten.

Can't wait to see what he does when Witten is the one being double covered, and Williams is slow on runninghis routes against 1-on-1.

Pick city, gentlemen. Pick city.

The hell he doesn't. 1000 yard seasons with 10 TDs in a down year, and saddled with an unimaginative coordinator. That doesn't come cheap. Put down your glass of hateraide and try and explain how the hell we are going to stretch defenses next year.

This team is going to get its offense stymied next season unless they pick up someone who can replace a top 10 WR threat. What if Roy Williams still can't run good routes? What if the oline sucks as bad as it did in 2008? Romo won't make it to week 10 because defenses are going to be coming after him. All they need to do is key Witten, and run blitz. That is all. Get used to 3 and out.

Well three of past four seasons were 9-7. We get rid of some dead weight, some overpaid, and some malcontents (just a few to go)....so we should have better chemistry. But guessing records will depend on the schedule and how the competition improves as well. Before the good moves so far this off-season we would be lucky to go 8-8.

Now after the moves -- my guess is 10-6. This is predicated on staying healthy. And it could improve if we have a successful draft.

Given the fact that we will probably at the very least share our division series thats 3-3 - maybe 4-2, share our AFC games thats another 2 and go 4-2 in other games that should be a 10-6.
Enough to get in? well it was this year so we will see post-seaspn play in 2010
