I've wanted to do this for a while now, but figured I would wait until after game 3 of the preseason. Everyone is well aware of the talent that was added to the DL this offseason and now that we've seen and heard about this unit as much as we probably will before the season it's the ideal time imo. The numbers below are for total team sacks, including LB, CB and S.

A) Less than 35 sacks

B) 35-40 sacks

C) 40.5- 45 sacks

D) 45.5 or more

We had 28 last year. I'm going to go with 48 this year.

I think the additions are good for an extra 20 spread-around sacks.

I'm going to go conservative with B. 35-40 sacks. But that with improved pressure is enough to make the defense a top 15 unit and competent against good offenses. Not dominant, but not a pushover.
