We're 2-3 right now.We lose the next 4 without Romo,to go to 2-7.We go 5-2 after Romo comes back,and finish 7-9.Wait till 2016.

I agree and if we are 2 and 6 we should sit tony for the rest of season and go get our next qb in the draft

Would love to beat the Giants in a defensive struggle.
Like Our offense is not so bad and we get to Eli early and often like last week.
Then end up 2 - 2 in the next four games.

When the Boys get everybody back and healthy I believe they will be long gone from playoffs. But will look damn good and be a team nobody wants any part off in the post season had they made it.

That is the most depressing scenario. But yes, a possibility. I think the one hopeful thing is that the team may still have some semblance of control over its own destiny. Yes, we may have to run the table, but the team will see that and set about doing just that. Just want a chance when Romo gets back.

Should be a continuation of the Brady sack-fest against Eli. And then if you can swap laughably inept QBing (Weeden) for just bad QBing (Cassel), I'm hopeful of a win and maybe even a couple more throughout this stretch. Yeah, let me go with 5-4.

I can see anything from 3-6 to 6-3, so I'll go with 4-4-1. W's against Philly and Tampa and play to a tie in an epic contest vs. Seattle. :D

I can't imagine the coaches all of a sudden putting Cassel in a better situation to succeed then they did with Weeden.

Weeden is getting way too much of the blame but with the gameplans we had he was always going to fail.

You can't let the whole world know what we are going to do with a guy who is already limited.

Anyways.. I expect to lose every game until Romo gets back. He masks so many shortcomings on this team.

3-6 and if we get lucky 4-5

this

If we're 4-5 I'll be thrilled at this point.

And if Romo plays at Miami, I think the extreme short week Thanksgiving game could be dicey even after he returns.

If somehow this team finishes 9-7 and in the playoffs...somehow...I'll be pumped.

If so, season over. Even Jerry Jones, who is pathologically optimistic, is getting a little uncomfortable.

“I don’t know that nine wins can get you in the tournament, and so, however you want to count them up. We really do need to get to playing better than we’re playing. If we don’t do that, then no matter how good we might get relative to right now, it’ll be too late.”

This bye week will be crucial. They have to come out of it with a plan, win against the Giants and start getting something to hang their hat on.

Right now, the whole team is in a state of disarray. Nothing is solidifying as dependable to be able to build off of. That has to happen soon.

We'll split the next 4, leaving us at 4-5. We'll lose 2 games with Romo, putting us at 9-7.

I truly hope 9-7 can get us into the playoffs. This team is capable of wreaking havoc in the playoffs if healthy.

If we manage to make the playoffs, anything less than an NFC Championship game appearance would be a big disappointment.

Would be great to see us pull off a " New York Giants" run. Lead by defense, and our O clicking under Tony with enough pts to get the W's and in the end the big One.....

@ New York Giants 3-2 Loss - Retribution win for NY loss earlier this year. we always split with these punks
Vs Seattle 2-3 Loss - Retribution win for last year. They will get their act together soon. always do.
Vs Philadelphia 2-3 Loss - Retribution win for embarrassing Phili loss earlier this year. they are going to get their timing down and win some games.
@ Tampa Bay 2-3 Win - We finally pull out a defensive battle win.
This team is in disarray without it true leadership and playmakers (we all know who they are). Romo makes it all work and no hand clapping or butt patting coach can win without talent. Pitt and Indi can do it but we are Romo dependent with this offense/team and unfortunately that's the way it is until we have a solid back up QB and an offense which is designed to cater to his talents. I'm reminded how Denver changed the offense in mid season for Tebow to go on a roll and was successful. Tebow was terrible, but their coaches were very good at disguising his issues (passing) and using his talents (running). Trying to make Weeden into Romo is just wrong and a disgrace to this team.

I think Dallas beats Philly and Tampa Bay. Cassel will have a good grasp of the offense and players by that point, plus the defense should be really clicking. Cassel is not a great starter in this league, but he is a good back-up QB. He can see the field waaaaaaaay better than Weeden.

Good news about all this is that the "Brandon Weeden is a good back-up" and "anybody can replace Murray" mindset by the Dallas brass will not be carried over into 2016. They should be able to make a real run with this team if they can get a good RB and second receiver.

They simply have to split the next four in a worst case scenario, preferably both being division wins.

Anything less pretty much makes the season worthless and there will be nothing left for Romo to rescue.

6-3. If Cassel starts we should win everyone of those games. As good as the defense was in the first half they'll get another huge boost with the return of Gregory and we can finally see that NASCAR package. Dez being back will free up running lanes and take some of the strain off Terrance, Beas, and Witten. None of those teams are more than average at this juncture. Butler showed he can be a big play guy and with an actual quarterback he can get some more especially being opposite of Dez. Also think we'll see more of him in the red zone. Big bodied guy. Teams will double Dez on the goal line. Put it right on his stomach.

Jerry Jones wouldn't sell out Weeden like that would he?
