Predict the rest of Dallas' schedule

And for the record, I gave us a chance if the defense turned in a monster effort (go look up the post) but admitted that it wasn't likely. But they did and we won. However, given what I have seen of this team this year...mistakes on offense, poor tackling, poor coaching, players out of position, etc. have FAR outnumbered the moments like Sunday so I can only assume that that is more representative of the team we have and thus my predictions.

Personally, I think that if I didn't "have a pair" I wouldn't still be posting this amid the seas of "OMG THIS IS BEST TEAM EVAR! 12-4 HERE WE COME! WE CAN BEAT ANYBODY!!@2@!21" posts that dominate this forum currently.

Plus, hopefully we don't have any major injuries or this team is in trouble. A few key injuries and we can lose to anyone left on the schedule. This season is long from over.

Posts like this blow my mind. We had 4 tunrovers and barely lost to the Giants. We lost to the Broncos despite giving them the ball twice inside our own 30.

The Cowboys just need to play a complete game, on all sides of the ball, and limit the penalties.

On top of that, we should get Felix and Roy back, and possibly Sensabaugh as well.

It shouldn't blow your mind. Our defense is terrible. The Falcons quite possibly have the league's best talent at the offensive skill positions and average
something like 27 points a game. Unless our defense puts forth a big-time effort, we are sunk.

Posters like you are a joke. I said nothing of the sort. However, there's practically no chance this team beats Atlanta as they currently are. This isn't the Kansas City Chiefs.

Yeah, I said "Practically". The defense gave the effort needed to reach that 5% chance or so. That's all there is to it.

One game does not a good defense make. Have you forgotten EVERY SINGLE OTHER GAME this defense has played this year? It's amazing what one win will do for fans.

If the Cowboys lose the next 2 after the Seattle game, I see virtually no chance of them winning 6 of the last 7. Nothing we've seen at any point in the last 2 seasons (or 13, take your pick) suggests that's remotely possible. That's hoping that they can do better in their final 7 games than they did in their first 7 games, when those last games are against significantly tougher competition.

IMO, they leave GB at 5-4, you can just about stick a fork in the season. With as many awful teams as there are this year, I'd say it'll take at least 10 wins to get a wildcard. Commanders, Detroit, TB, Carolina, Rams, and maybe Seattle are awful. There's too many walkovers for the NFC's better teams for a 9 win team to get in, and my guess is that at least one 10-6 team will be left on the outside looking in. And if Dallas is 5-4, that would mean they'd have to go at least 5-2 to finish, just to hope for a wildcard.

Time will tell, but if they have playoff aspirations, I think Dallas must leave GB at 6-3.

I was predicting 8-8 this past week, but Philly continues to look like a below average team that we should beat twice. Our brutal final 8 games looks slightly less daunting now. We are still too mistake prone to make a seriosu run at the division.

You really think the Chargers and Packers are better teams than the Cowboys?

The only team i would predict the Cowboys losing to the whole rest of the season is the Saints. Does that mean we will finish 13-3, no, but New Orleans is the only team that I would consider better than Dallas.

The Packers game will be difficult, but the Packers OL has been pretty dreadful this year. The production they are getting from QB is pretty amazing considering he has little time to throw the ball. It would be better if this was a home game for the Boys.

The Giants secondary is a mess right now and their defense is exploitable. Canty is also out.

While I wouldn't consider either game a lock for the Cowboys, neither are a sure loss.

Philly is beatable. Westbrook is hurting and their OL is full of holes. Jackson is the main concern on offense.

...they have to get one of the two road games...and if they played tomorrow the team they would want is Philadelphia, with their o-line issues and minus Westbrook...but Dallas handled Green Bay quite handily last year in Green Bay...they did this because of Green Bay's o-line which has allowed Rodgers to be the most sacked quarterback [25 sacks] in the league this year...he's on pace to be sacked ~66 times! and Jared Allen is licking his chops at the opportunity to beat him up again next sunday...they are 28th on the offensive hog index of negative pass plays and 0-2 against quality teams so far this year...his passer rating is high at 110.8 [11-2 td-int]but all this means is that he'll kill the scrubs but succumb to defenses that can pressure him for the entire game...if Dallas can get after him like they did last year they should win if the offense continues to shine...

...i think they must somehow sweep Washington, which looks easier with each passing week as their offense stumbles around in the dark, and now they've lost Cooley for the year with Campbell now nursing a bad ankle...at 2-5 and a brutal schedule awaits them: @ATL, DEN, @DAL, @PHI, NO, @OAK, NYG, DAL, @SD...all playoff caliber teams, save OAK...they could finish up 3-13 if they play like they played against Philadelphia monday night...

...personally, i think their season will be effectively over by the time they face Oakland...
