I love these threads. It shows how much people let their emotions get the best of them. Like I've said many times, any team in the NFL that makes the playoffs can go on a run and win a SB. This is backed by facts of every seed possible winning a SB. I'm much more optimistic so I say we win our first 2 and finally make it to the NFC Championship where we will meet Aaron Rodgers. What happens in that game only god knows. I say we beat em.

The only difference in Dak and the other QBs you mentioned is Dak is light between the ears. You get some rest with one of your collection of Dak blankies and sippy cups. You talk a big game to have never stepped on a field. Your comments in all your post prove my point. Were you first or second chair in the band?

Not likely consistent enough to beat enough good teams in a row to win a SB or even make one. I'd say it will be a 50/50 at best chance each week. If I had to guess I'd say they win one and then lose, but I could see either one and done or winning two as well.

I get the emotional yoyo we fans have been experiencing the last 26 years...I am giving every Dallas fan, me included, a mulligan...a free pass. We deserve and have every right to get emotional ,vent..rant. Its been 26 ridiculous years of mediocrity sprinkled with a random great team that is undisciplined just enuff to get us beat. Maybe we can catch lightning in a bottle who knows. More likely catching a fart in a bottle the way things are going....lol

Okay, I'm curious what everyone thinks. A few games ago I thought that they had a real shot at making it to the NFC Championship game and maybe even making a SB appearance.

After the Cardinals game, I've reassessed my opinion since they're a playoff caliber team.

What does everyone predict?

Here's mine: While I'd be thrilled at a SB appearance, I don't think that the Cowboys will even make it to the NFC Conference championship this time.

Not with the "leader" of this team.

...get more tackles in the running game, add TE (Good TE that blocks) as well. They put 8 in the box, get 7 to block. That should propel the running game, then passing will naturally follow through.

This defense will meet them passed the halfway mark. We can win at least 2 playoff games.

It's really painful for me to say this, but I'm shook.

This offense is a big problem. The run game is terrible. The qb isn't able to overcome. The wrs drop the ball too much. The TE can't block to save his life. The coordinator won't run outside and hasn't adjusted period.

I'd love to believe they are holding back, but that's a reach.

We are talented enough to beat anyone IF we execute. The problem is we aren't executing consistently.

I'm holding out hope for a conference championship minimum. Right now it looks like we won't make it past the Divisional round, and the wildcard will be a struggle.

We need to shake things up somehow, someway. If this team puts it together again....

This team has been consistently inconsistent for 7 weeks and I do not expect that to change within the next 2 weeks, so a first-round exit would not surprise me at all.
