And let me add to the skins fans yes Saunders is very good. But the Chiefs has the best offensive line in football and they have been in that system for years big difference

I'll admit I don't expect us to be the #1 ranked offense in one year. But when you consider that KC was the 4th ranked offense in Saunders first year there, after being 8th the year before, and following up that 4th ranking with a 5th, 2nd, 1st, and 1st in Saunder's last 4 years.

Again it will all come down to execution. Saunders can have the greatest playbook in the world but its up to the players to execute it come game time.

Doomsday...

:hammer: dead on, if TO doesn't give us problems, which he probably won't, the 1st year ran smooth in Philty, and the Oline is at least on par with last year before Flo went down, which I actually think it's better, improved the RT position, Al Johnson getting another year under his belt and being bigger, Rivera returning from injury, getting quicker at LG with the signing of Kosier, and of course, Hotel manning the all important LT position, not to mention the 2-TE offense will help with the blocking, and TO's prescence, I think 11-5 is totally imaginable for us, 3 more games could have been won if we made at least one kick, and we shored up the problematic position with the signing of Vandy

us, Washington and the Giants are going to beat up on each other this year, I don't really expect much from the Eagles, they have their most, least talented offense in years, pretty good assessment man

Wait a minute...

You say Campbell will be ready to take over when Brunell gets gimpy. PLEASE!!! You've been drinking too much Kool-Aid pal. If Brunell misses more than two games, which is very likely, the Skins are done. No way a 2nd year quarterback with no experience picks up where Brunell leaves off.

I actually agree that the Commanders will take a step backwards this year. The Commanders front office just doesn't get it. They think they can just sign and plug in high profile free agents and assistant coaches and win BUT they have failed miserably since Snyder took over. Sure they made the playoffs last year and won a game but considering the last several seasons, I think most neutral observers would conclude that it was a fluke more than anything.

The front office just doesn't understand things like team chemistry, signing players who fit into their scheme, and building through the draft.

The truth is that a very fragile Brunell will have a mediocre season. I predict that the Skins finish 9-7 and Brunell misses at least 3 games because of injury.

Team chemistry? We're returning with the majority of the team we had last year. You act like we gutted our roster.

I don't think you understand what's going on in DC. Gibbs has taken things over. This isn't 2000. The only thing Snyder is involved in here is what he's best at & that's signing checks. I personally don't like Snyder but I'm happy that he's not shy about spending his own money. We're not going out & picking up old washed up vets with big names. We're picking up young talented players just hitting their stride.

We can't find players that fit our scheme? Your kidding right? Every free agent we've gotten since Gibbs has come back has fit into our scheme. The only exception was Mike Barrow & that's because he was injured. Snyder's intentions of spending lots of money were good but he was wasting it on the wrong guys. Now we have Gibbs/Williams telling him who to get & they can get whoever they want because we've figured out the loophole in the cap.

Where are these neutral observers who will tell me last year was a fluke? You think winning 6 games in a row, including 3 dominating wins over the teams in our division & a playoff road game is a fluke? Believe whatever makes you feel better I guess, I know it must be hard knowing that we showed mercy toward you in our last game. 35 - 0 before we stopped playing early in the 3rd quarter & showed pity on you. That could've easily been 70 - 0 by the end.
