I'll get thrown in jail for lodging my foot in some bandwagon Cardinals fan's trash. After they remove my foot from his trash of course.

Bob Hayes will be rightfully honored in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and I will be there wearing a Bob Hayes jersey.

I'll get thrown back in jail for calling the judge a bandwagon Cardinals fan and offering to put my foot in his trash too.

We will have another solid Draft, but we will not select 11 players which is how many picks we have. 6 or 7 is more likely.

My book will come out.

I will miss training camp doing community service for threatening a piece of crap bandwagon Cardinals fan judge.

The pre-season will kick off. Posters will put too much stock in what happens in pre-season. A loss will cause people to say this team cannot win. They will be reminded that one team was undefeated last pre-season, the Lions. They will not get it.

I will pray that the idiots mentioned above become Bandwagon Cardinals fans. My foot will itch.

The season will kick off. Every loss will spell our doom. Every win an indication we are the team to beat.

The Cardinals will suck and I will be vindicated as their bandwagon fans begin to disappear like the cockroaches they are.

A Commanders fan will remind me of a bandwagon Cardinals fan whom I got my foot stuck in his trash and I will ban him. This will give me great joy.

Every player on the roster will be determined by some idiot or another to not be good enough to play in the NFL.

I probably missed something.

You'll crash your book's popularity if you ruin your martyr status.

I'm more worried about the Amazon reviews. Anyway, the pics of me and WG dancing at the Prom are priceless.

I assume you mean Paulescu when you say 'cut our punter'.

It pretty simple we had camp marshmallow followed by camp cupcake and this year camp is camp easy bake.

Follow that up with a team that has talent underachieves and plays once again without sound fundamental football.

Look for turnovers; stupid penalties (we will be in the top 5 in total #) follow that up with bouts of uninspired effort.

Look for Head Coach to stand on the sideline looking dazed and confused.

Look for extra days off for losing and look for the players continued to be confused and arguing before and after plays do to the confusion both sides of the football.

So more of the same as last year but if it goes south I look for it to completely spiral out of control quickly.

I almost forgot look for Brian Stewart in his new outfit as returning cheerleader

I read a lot of that here.

OK bash Wade all you want because 9-7 and no playoffs with this roster is unexceptable. He failed us as a HC in 2008.

With all that said, I don't get all the bashing for how he looks on the sidelines and the implication that he failed as a gameday coach.

Our clock management and HC type in game decisions were outstanding in 2008 as they were in 2007.

In addition to that his gameday coaching of the defense left little to question.

For all the coaching realted problems we do have (discipline, work ethic), from what I've seen, Wade did a very good job on gameday.

The off-season is relatively uneventful. However, the boys start 1-4 after road losses to Denver and Tampa, and home losses to the Giants and Carolina (with a road win coming home at KC) prompting Jones to fire Wade Phillips during the bye week and replacing him with Garrett. The team stumbles the rest of the way to a 6-10 finish, and Mike Holmgren is hired 1 year from today.

Agree with most of what you have here. Except I don't see a FA LB replacing Carpenter. At least not a significant starting quality FA LB.

I think Ware's deal averages 10 mil. Something like 7yrs/70 mil/24 mil Bonus.

I believe we will have another very good draft focusing on OL and S.

I believe we will have a stronger focus on the running attack.

I believe Felix will lead our RB's in touches and catch 50 plus balls.

We will fly under the radar as much as any Cowboy team can. Very few positive preseason views. Unfortunately that wont last past week 4.

I'll go on record first predictiong we have a strong year, win the NFC East and one of the top 2 seeds.
I'll stop right there.

I'm not sure the team underachieved as much as we were just over hyped. The number of probowlers this year is a better indication of the talent on this team. That being said (if we stay healthy and that was a problem this year) we can be a playoff team next year as long as we shore up the O line and the seconday and our coaches are a year better.

11-5

We keep Wade.
We replace Garrett who goes to the Rams.
Replace Wade Wilson who leaves to go with Garrett as OC.
Replace Hudson Houck who does to coach OL and as Asst HC.

OC is Ray Sherman
QB Coach/Asst HC is David Lee ... yes Romo is that important.
I don't know who Sherman trusts as OL Coach so won't even venture a guess.

T.O. stays and has his best season as a pro next year.

Felix Jones and Marion Barber combine to have the most rushing TDs of any backfield in football next year.

Greg Ellis is excellent through 8 weeks of football and tails off miserably again in his final Cowboys season.

We draft an ILB, OLB, OG, OT, SS, FS, QB with 7 picks in the first 5 rounds but mostly in round 3 though 5.

Pacman is not back.
Tank never even draws a mention here again.

Austin is tendered at r2 comp, 1.5 mil.

This team is healthier next year and wins more games.
They go 11-5 in regular season than 2-1 in the playoffs losing to Atlanta in the NFCC.
Fans still want to fire Wade for underachieving.

If we tie some loose ends as far as execution goes, we would have won against the Steelers, Cardinals and Ravens last season so all is not lost now.

A little creativity on offense would have helped. (having a draw play as your bread and butter in the running game is an absolute joke regardless of who's in or out of the lineup)

I think this team may have been over rated to start the season but by all means good enough to still be competing for the trophy right now. The pieces are in place to compete for years to come (coaches and players).

They just need to come together and use each day and each game to improve on the last one.
