Predictions For WEEK 1 at SAN Diego

Go check out and see what the Charger fans are thinking. They think they will win, but they seem a little bit nervous about our Defense, and they're hoping Price doesn't have a good game, and that our O-Line doesn't hold up.

For me, I think the Cowboys will shock and frustrate their Offense.

I believe the Chargers offense is spoiled and used to getting it's way- but when BP comes to town with his stud DB's, this will be my prediction.

Dallas will blitz the crap out of Drew.B and cause him to eventually cough it up 1, or even twice.

I see Roy getting to the QB and Ware getting there.

I see a pick in the secondary, I just don't know who.

I see us doing OKAY against the run, since we're still in "gel-mode" with our front 7.

I see on offense, that we will throw the ball alot.

I can also see some passes to JJ, for 5 yard eat-ups.

When they loosen up that front 7, we will pop them with some JJ.

Our kicking game could hurt us in the end, but I hope our defense saves us, and I think we win 20-16. We'll give up alot of Field Goals in this one.

We're just not ready to beat a playoff team on the road.

Just because they were a playoff team last year does not mean it will happen this year.

Cowboys - 24
Chargers - 14

I see their kick returners and punt returners racking up big yards. Thank God Dante Hall isn't on their team.

San Diego is a very good team and will be a great test for us. If our OL holds up on the pass rush and opens some holes for our RBs, and if the D holds LT to 80 yards we will win.

I'll assume those things happen and predict we win 27-24.

It should be a great undertaking and a terrific challenge for our team. Drew Breese was amazing last year. He has added weapons too.

Will Dallas get enough pressure on Breese and be able to shut down the leagues best RB?

Will the Dallas Offense be able to get Julius going and in the process open up passing lanes?

Those are the keys. Not sure how it will pan out but this is the real deal. We find out how good or bad Dallas really is for certain, this week.

Dang it! He is so quick. I hope DeHaven gets our return coverage teams' acts together before then.

I hope so too. I have been missing Special Teams Coach Joe Alvozano, he always had them ready.

My prediction is:

I'm banned from at least two Chargers boards by game time.

But don't worry anyone, I'm not mentioning the Zone. ;)

Not quite yet.

It's usually best to start out relatively civil, then proceed to pure smack by mid week at the earliest. You have to time your banning.

The big question here is how will we look in the 4th qtr? Will we be worn down by LT and Drew Breeze or will they be worn down by us persuing them and destryoing the game pan.

Will our offense still be viable with 7 mins to play?

If we win it will be a shocker. I say San Diego 24 Cowboys 17

Defense causes a turnover and scores. JJ runs for 120 and Drew is effective behind some good blocking.

DALLAS 24
chargers 13

I would be ecstatic if we beat the Chargers. I think it's going to be a close game. Our D should surprise them somewhat since they have one of the worst olines in the league, but I see LT2 breaking off at least 1 long run - I'm talking 40 yards or better. The youngsters will make some mistakes, but overall, the D will put on a good showing. Three sacks/2 turnovers.

If we're going to win this one, the play of the O line & Bledsoe's accuracy are key. A mediocre passing game will greatly affect how many yards JJ/A-train put up. The Chargers run D is pretty good & if they feel safe stacking the line, we could be in for a long night. If Drew looks like he did the other night, the flood gates could well open & we could beat them handily.

I'm very worried about our special teams play. Sproles is greased lightning. We cannot allow him to have a good night.

I also see us missing a FG or two. Hopefully not - it could be the deciding factor.

With a good passing game - 30 - 13 Cowboys
Without - 20 - 17 Chargers

This will be the first of 4 straight wins to start the season.
Dallas - 24
Chargers -10
