Matt Stafford has a winning record in playoff games, and won a SB.
This proves my point. He got that losing record playing for awful Lions teams for years. He goes to a good Rams team and wins a Super Bowl. It's a team effort to beat a team with a winning record (any team really), not just the QB.

Umm the franchise didn’t have them and we won 10 games, made the playoffs and was eliminated early. That’s not in my head. Google it. It is fact. Without Dak and/or Romo we went to the playoffs and lost in the WC round.

If you can prove to me that we did not win 10 games, made the playoffs and lost in the WC round than I will admit it’s all in my head.
That doesn't account for 20+ years.

Dak has had stacked teams already. He's had a 13-3 one seed, a 12-5 two seed, top 10 defenses along with the leagues top RB, and never parlayed any of that to even a single win in the Divisional Round of the Playoffs. Your attempt to excuse Dak by making the false claim that he's never had the team around him doesn't work. You don't have a valid point. Stafford is a superior QB to Dak.

Show me where I ever tried to excuse Dak or claim he was superior to Stafford.

He was probably a better QB on the Lions than Dak has been in Dallas.

I don't hate Romo. But the way people compare he & Dak is absurd. They are the identical player, both w/black cat careers.

Dak Prescott has a career regular-season record of 22-25 (.468) against teams that enter the game with a winning record.

Tony Romo had a regular-season record of 19-32 against teams with a winning record (above .500) and an 8-10 record against teams that finished at .500.

So for all of the guys touting how Romo was a much more capable QB, this stat shows the falsehood in that statement. They are pretty much the same QB. Both are known to put up good numbers yet crack in high pressure moments in big games against above average competition.

Just for the sake of comparison

Tom Brady 74–47
Highest number of wins against winning teams in NFL history.

Patrick Mahomes 22–12 (or ~64.7%)
One of the highest win percentages against winning competition in the modern era.

Lamar Jackson 14–4
Strong track record against winning teams, including standout single-season marks.
Lamar only played 18 games against teams over 500. What about the other 110 or so games he played, were they under 500.

Oh Patrick Cray-Cray. Dropping that easy slant and irrevocably changing the momentum of the game. He sucks eternally.
There’s only maybe 2 or 3 former Cowboys that I absolutely hate, I mean really have bitter feelings about. Patrick Crayton is one of the 3 if not the top guy on that list. That drop was inexcusable. Even thinking about that drop makes me angry.

LOL, no, it doesn't prove your point, it totally destroys it. You were trying to equate an actual winner of a QB to Dak to try and protect him, and make him appear better than he actually is.

"You are what your record says you are." - a famous Coach who knew what the hell he was talking about.

Parcells wasn’t referring to the QB though.

Typical Jerry the misevaluation king.

Didn’t need a good OL because Romo was mobile.

Didn’t need a defense because he is paying Dak a fortune (which was his own doing).

He seriously think people ought to do things they aren’t capable of because he pays them to be.

Romo did zilch here. Dak will be remembered the same way if he doesn’t at least get to the NFC title game.
