"Where we are right now, it's all excitement. It is," Prescott said. "It's truly a privilege to be the quarterback of this team, to be a leader of these guys, offense, defense, this coaching staff that we have. And yeah, especially with everything being said about us -- you know what I mean? -- the lack of what we have, keep writing, keep talking. We're ready to go play."

We have not been wrong about the Arlington Jonesboys for 26 years...I like my chances that 2022 season is not going to end with a NFC Championship game appearance.

Doubters more like haters at least on this board. He’s going to have a tough time swaying them with what he has around him on offense. We were number one in offense and scoring last season and he still has doubters. Good luck duplicating what we did on offense last season.

I hope he does, that only means he's having a great season. I don't care where anybody wants to rank him, top 5, top 10, are middle of the pack. The season is about to start and I'm wishing Dak and the Cowboys the very best.

I keep reading about haters, who gives a damn about haters

I think this is clearly my least favorite thing about Dak. His overconfident, rah rah attitude. Maybe he thinks thats what he needs in order to lead. I personally would rather see him say that we have a long way to go and we need to stay focused. Nothing comes easy, yada yada yada. This team has a lot to prove.

Would love to see the Cowboys go 12-5 with Dak struggling behind a bad line with the defense carrying us. And then watch the Dak haters flip flop again from its all about winning to Dak has bad stats and is being carried. LOL

This is the perfect time to sway people for Dak.

You're not going to sway anyone when you have great talent all over the place. You sway people by performing when things aren't perfect all around you.

It's year 7 for Dak. 10 more days of talk then It's put up or shut up.

Yeah...he's very Pollyanna-ish sometimes. Telling Brady "we'll see you again"... it's silly and dumb, I don't think it is confidence at all. He should know better by now, anyways. Should just be hoping they sign Peters so he doesn't get carted off the field with his collar bone poking out in game 2 or 3.

I wouldn’t go near as far as to say he’s had great talent all around him. He’s had a few pieces on offense and he’s put up the kind of numbers that you would expect with those players from a solid QB. The OL was only real solid during his rookie year. The defense hasn’t been very good ever since he got here. It’s been far from a great unit and even last season we gave up more 30+ yard plays than any defense in the league. The big positive with the defense was all the takeaways we got. We had a part time edge rusher lead us in sacks last season. We’ve had issues stopping the run and we’ve been getting dominated in the trenches for the past few seasons. The coaching certainly hasn’t been good since Dak got here.
