I'm ready for some football.
I'm holding off praise or criticism until after the first game.
Go Cowboys!

They crapped the bed against SF and they are a worst team than that team......oh I'm sure they are ready.

When you are 17-0 , you must be good and should have beaten some good teams, so unless injuries pile up a deep playoff run will be expected, ( you will have all kind of seeding and HOA )
Oh yeah, as if that has helped us last year. ;)

Of course a 17-0 regular season would be fun but in the end it's just a ticket to the play offs where it's a whole new ballgame. And the chances for making it 17-1 (in this example) are pretty big with our beloved Cowboys.

The only reason why a 17-0 season would be different is, that you would have beaten a couple of contenders too, which of course should boost our fan confidence quite a bit.

I really don't think the Cowboys are poised to prove doubters wrong, but as an aging, doubting fan I hope they prove me wrong.

I was thinking about this last night:

Correct me if I'm wrong but can't another team sign a player off a different practice squad? They are not "protected", isn't that so?

Is there anything that could stop the Bucs from signing up Maher before the Cowboys made their move? They would then be free to cut him the following week.

The Cowboys would be forced to sign an emergency kicker who. I assume, would be less accurate.

I'm sure there is some strategic flaw in the idea, right?

Yes, all practice squad players are up for grabs.

I figured when he signed it, it would be long before he was way down the list, BUT Dak is the Dallas Cowboys QB, the ratings Master Team. Everyday, day in day out for almost 3 years , we had to hear about his stinking contract. It was ruthless. By the time he signed it, i didnt care what they signed him for , I just didnt want to hear about it anymore.
