Yeah...he's very Pollyanna-ish sometimes. Telling Brady "we'll see you again"... it's silly and dumb, I don't think it is confidence at all. He should know better by now, anyways. Should just be hoping they sign Peters so he doesn't get carted off the field with his collar bone poking out in game 2 or 3.

Yah, it they dont sign peters I might just go into Jerry's office and threaten to quit. The guy wont have a chance. Zeke will be averaging 2 ypc at this rate.

I wouldn’t go near as far as to say he’s had great talent all around him. He’s had a few pieces on offense and he’s put up the kind of numbers that you would expect with those players from a solid QB. The OL was only real solid during his rookie year. The defense hasn’t been very good ever since he got here. It’s been far from a great unit and even last season we gave up more 30+ yard plays than any defense in the league. The big positive with the defense was all the takeaways we got. We had a part time edge rusher lead us in sacks last season. We’ve had issues stopping the run and we’ve been getting dominated in the trenches for the past few seasons. The coaching certainly hasn’t been good since Dak got here.
He's had stacked offenses since he's been the QB.

AT LEAST 2 All-Pros on the offensive line every year. 3 All-Pros on that line in 2016.

A RB that has won the rushing title twice and is consistently in the top in rushing yards every.... and most people think he's our 2nd best RB now.

A legit #1 WR every year except half of one season (2018)

He's had WAYYYYY more than most QBs have.

If he wants to sway people then play well when things aren't perfect around you. Because people like myself think he was made to look a lot better than he really is because of the talent he's had around him.

My favorite interview was when the guys interviewing him were asking him if he listened to a lot of Payton Manning interviews.

And he was like, yeah, you know, say stuff with out saying a whole lot. I thought it was hilarious. Because what do you want him to say? He might be a bus driver, but he isn't stupid.

The OL has been declining ever since 2016. It all started with Tyron Smith’s repeated injuries and him missing games. Tony Romo had what many considered stacked teams and how far did we get with him? The Cowboys had 13 pro bowlers in 2007 and went one and done in the playoffs. That was more pro bowlers than the two Super Bowl teams had combined that year. There’s been a debate amongst many whether the Cowboys talent has been overrated or underachieving. The bottom line is no one can succeed under Jerry Jones, not the QBs or the head coaches. If it’s going to take a better QB than Dak and Romo to win a championship, the Cowboys will likely never win another one at least not under Jerry Jones.

He’s not going to make it to week 7 behind this offensive line
Because of a freak injury? Not pointed at you, but people act like Dak is glass after that. He's not Romo. Dude is a walking brick.

"Where we are right now, it's all excitement. It is," Prescott said. "It's truly a privilege to be the quarterback of this team, to be a leader of these guys, offense, defense, this coaching staff that we have. And yeah, especially with everything being said about us -- you know what I mean? -- the lack of what we have, keep writing, keep talking. We're ready to go play."

We're screwed.

I mean...it's definitely better than the Giants GM's statement earlier. Dude sounded like he should be on suicide watch.

I think this is clearly my least favorite thing about Dak. His overconfident, rah rah attitude. Maybe he thinks thats what he needs in order to lead. I personally would rather see him say that we have a long way to go and we need to stay focused. Nothing comes easy, yada yada yada. This team has a lot to prove.
Wonder who set that example.

Typical sucky Dallas fans, tearing everything down, even when a player, leader of the team makes a positive statement.

what do you want him to say…my OL sucks, everyone sucks, we are looking forward to have the 1st overall pick in the draft….oh then the same fans would whine about what they want to hear.

Dak sure is talking a lot of smack when his offensive line is literally the worst in the league right now.

Tampa is going to be blitzing every dam play, it is going to be brutal.

To show you just how bad reading and comprehension with some people... he didn't say "I". As in, I'm (Dak) ready to proved doubters wrong, he said we. Meaning this team is ready to prove doubters wrong. He's feeling good about the team and he considers it a privilege to be leading this team.

Some people are just....

my problem with this, is why was he not ready to prove doubters wrong in 2021?
Whats he been doing for 7 fricking years? Did it take him this long to get real motivated?

Truth is he is just brown nosing jerry, the coaches lol, and the players. rah rah I am ready to go now lol.
Rah Rah only works till you get hit in the face, like niners and denver did to them last season.
