Exactly, want do they expect him to say? Every QB in the league is going to say something similar to start the season, but when Dak says it, it causes a ruckus. How dare he start the season trying to be positive!

Get worse on the OL and WR's but the QB will be good enough to more than balance that out. Is that the message?

Every player is capable of playing bad.. However your assertion was that Zeke would average 3 ypc this year. Which would be a full yard lower than his next worst season. That was what I asked what you would be willing to bet on that prediction. I am willing to bet that Zeke exceeds 3 ypc no matter who they sign or don't sign.

P.S. Yes he DID actually get hurt in 2020.. in fact he missed his first game due to injury that year because of a pulled calf muscle if I recall correctly. He tried to play through it for a couple of games then finally had to sit one out.

Even at that his stat line that year:

You mean like your hero who missed 10 games in 2020 and another one in 2021? Which guy would you say is more injury prone.. the one who missed 1 game the last two seasons or the guy who missed 11? One guy plays a position that can count on 50-60 collisions per game.. the other plays a position that the league would put in bubble wrap it they could.. Guys get hurt more as they age. Nothing to be done about beside having a good backup. I don't expect Zeke to make it through a season behind this line and having to pick up the leakers in the pass rush 20-30 times a game without getting dinged up. I just don't think for one second he will average 3 ypc as you tried to claim. By the look of your backpedaling, neither do you..

That's hilarious. You can't possibly believe poor line play has no effect on a RB getting hurt. This explains a lot.. You clearly never lined up in the backfield if you honestly think that. Did you ever play any football at all? No seriously.. I wanna know.. And Zeke can handle 20 carries a game just fine as long as he's not also having to pick up the slack for the line in the passing game another 30-40 times a game. Those collisions where you're absorbing the hit from a guy 50-100 pounds heavier than you hurt like hell and don't show up in the stat sheet..

You seem to have a serious problem with math and accuracy. Zeke's extension was 6 years for 90 million.. that comes to 15 million a year not 18.. But then someone who think 3 ypc is the same as 3.9 ypc cannot be counted on to understand numbers.

I have stated many times that I don't expect Zeke to have any more monster seasons in Dallas. At least not with Kellen Moore calling plays. That's the hand we have been dealt. It's not humanly possible for a back to consistently run for 100 yards a game getting 12-13 carries a game. The next time that happens will be the first ..
