The problem I see is I don’t know if we can fix this thing in an offseason or two.

So we’re gonna be forced with paying Dak again at 35… or finding a qb. Do we take a shot at the guy of the future if we have a top 5 pick next year?

No, someone who can play offense. The scenario, both teams suck, the game is tied, all you got to do is score. I mean you don't expect this from someone you label as the MVP?

I expect more if the QB is running the offense in the hurry up. When the coach is calling the plays, I expect the QB to execute it. The big loss on first down was a designed screen pass, not a play where the QB is even looking downfield because receivers are simply moving defenders or setting up blocks.
On second and long, defenders were swallowing him for a sack, even the announcers were saying he was throwing the ball away at Williams feet to avoid the sack, but Williams went down and caught it.

In a tie game, Schotty called the same play on 3rd and 22 that many coaches run in a tie game. The play call was a one blocker screen to Lupke to pick up a few yards and hope to break one or pin the other team down deep where they won’t take much risk either.

Guess what? Carolina didn’t risk anything. They just ran the ball down our throats.

So, what would any QB in the league have down differently? We all know Dak is not the best QB in the league, but choose anyone and tell me what he would have done on the two screen passes differently. On the throw away to avoid a sack, I’m sure a better QB would have put it in the dirt better. I’ll give you that one.
