Yeah, but we knew this defense was suspect at the beginning of the season with a banged up secondary and then losing Parsons. But we had people on here acting like we were still in it because of a tied game and beating up two new york teams, and then the Eagles got upset, so people equate that to well if the Giants beat the Eagles the cowboys woulda, shoulda, coulda too, so all the sudden we are a playoff team again. Dak has played well through the season, far better than I've expected, but if people are going to start saying things like top 4, get upset because he wasn't ontop of an MVP poll and such, then they should at least expect him to be able to be a difference maker in a tied game, at a critical moment, against a bad team.

He's proven time and time again he can't do it. I don't think he earns his $60 million at those times when it is most needed. Could care less about games like today good or bad quite frankly..BUT objectively, I am not gonna poo poo him just because they lost today or how bad the Defense played. He had no hand in the atrocity.

I’m just asking on which play was he horrendous?
The first down designed screen pass or the second screen pass on third down. He executed them perfectly, delivered the passes, and they were caught. Is he supposed to block and make the moves too?

On second down, he tried to throw it away to avoid a sack and threw it at Williams feet like most QBs do, but he could have done better by throwing it shorter so Williams couldn’t go down to the ground and catch it.

I’ve seen Dak play bad. I’ve seen bad INTs, bad misses to open receivers, etc. I’m just not understanding what was horrendous by him on those play calls.

BTW….When a QB audibles, it’s to change the blocking scheme on the play or to change from a pass to a run or a run to a pass, both plays being called in the huddle. You can’t stand at the line and audible from one pass play to another. Kill kill kill simply cancels the play called and switches to a companion play everyone already knows is the switch.
 
Lina took away the run game all day and dared Dak to take the game over. He needs a run game to be successful, as do most QB's better or worse than him. The loss isn't on him, but we know he needs all the parts moving to be a success

it doesn’t matter if he was comfortable or not on that last drive bc we didn’t lose the game cuz of that. nitpicking at its finest. maybe our qb should stop dowdle and cover Tet as well.

Oh with these excuses. 27-27 on your own 45 yard line. Which is good field position. Pickens has destroyed them all afternoon and what did they do? You do realize that he is allowed to lead the team down the field to score points right? This pathetic defense got you a stop and you then proceeded to lose 12 yards on the first two plays of the drive and then put this sorry defense back on the field. 10 years of the same old stuff on this.

The MVP (QB) of this season will have games that the defense will have to come through..again im not saying Dak is MVP hell i said no way because the MVP doesnt miss the playoffs and this defense wont sniff the playoffs...but to say "if you want to say he is playing top 4 then he needs to cover for the worst defense in the league" thats not realistic.. Rico Dowdle just put 300 yards of offense on an NFL defense..let that sink in
