you know why? its not a defense of Dak, its Schotty getting out smarted with the play calling. they rushed 4 in the last series and dropped 7 into coverage and dared the offense to throw those swing passes. they didn't fear our running game and knew the only thing we can do is pass. Pickens was blanketed in the front and back and the rest played cover 2, cover 3 and just took the passing lanes away. the sad part, they were able to generate pressure with just 4, forcing quick passes and not allowing deeper pass routes to develop, thus swing pass to Williams. if you noticed, as soon as he got the ball, three players rushed up and just bottled him up. their defense controlled our offensive play call and execution.

Cmon MC, you can't appreciate that Dak over Dallas fans know an MVP when they see one. We could be stuck with a Baker Mayfield who without Bucky Irving, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and losing their phenom rookie WR Ekbuka during the game, just beat the 4-1 49ers. The defense is why we are going to be an 8-8-1 team. The MVP talk was silly, Dak is a good Quarterback, and has looked good. But MVP should be reserved for those who are difference makers, somebody who can take the game into their own hands when things are tied and can come up with a win. Today, we had two teams that suck playing against each other, but people suddenly don't expect the person they been calling MVP to be a difference maker. I saw one player on the field today that looked like a difference maker, and helped his team that sucks earn a win.
