Prescott on George Pickens

I ripped mine slipping in mud too! lol

Well, there is a difference between running and just scrambling away from pressure. Dak scrambled more than he ran but I doubt he will even be able to do that much anymore. He did this on a run last year simply changing directions. So, he had a tight hammy to start with and now ripped off bone....... not good!
Yeah having had an injury to that spot, I just don’t see how it’s not going to limit him one way or another.

It’s gotta feel susceptible at all times….yet another thing on his mind, along with ‘should I run, should I not run?’ and the Happy Feet dance when his first read isn’t open. This isn’t about him and I’m not one that blames all on him, nor do I dislike him, but his health and the tackles protecting him are major questions…ones that probably should have been answered before making final piece rental additions, but hey, what do I know?

You put the ball anywhere?? Get ready George, Dak means what he says, he'll put it under, over, side, etc, we HOPE someone can catch these passes from Dak, sheesh! Pickens will be the reason why Dak can go to Jerry this next off season and ask for MORE money!!

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott on @dfwticket on WR George Pickens: "We've connected. I'm excited. You turn on the tape, you see a guy that can catch the football. You put the football anywhere in his vicinity, very strong hands. More than a 50/50 catcher. He thinks it's his ball when it's in the air. I'm excited for him. I know we needed some help at that position. ... It's hard to double team two guys. ... I think we're putting together a nice group of weapons."

Translation Dak will not be working on accuracy drills before training camp.:muttley:

Interpretation:
Dak:
George is a great player, we will make me look better.
When I go down with and injury, he will make Milton look better.
It is interesting that we got a backup who can throw it the distance of the field. If Dak has to miss any games, it should help Milton out to have a great 50/50 deep-ball catcher. Milton is more likely to struggle throwing the short/underneath stuff.

Exactly, what difference does it make when Pickens takes off on a go route and Dak either throws it 10 yds short of him, or doesn't like his chances and does another dump off to a TE or RB?

yes the dump offs KILL ME, it's so funny because there's ALWAYS a defender INCHES from the TE or RB especially, and Dak still throws it, JUST THROW it out of bounds if anything!!!!

Yeah, his throws are still as if he just came into the league, why are we 10 years into his career still questioning his throwing abilities!!!?

Jeez. The way some of you focus only on Dak threads, then yall turn around and call others Dak>Cowboys fans is... interesting.

One would think it would be the opposite.

So in other words, Dak is making an excuse to put the ball anywhere and risk Pickens getting his head taken off? Got it
