Like an angry ocean. This is an angry thread.
He suffers for us!we won't know until this time next off season, how Dak played with pain all throughout the season
This will be a disaster, but it will be fun to watch play out for however many weeks Dak plays.
Thanks for the input, Han.So many cliches. I have a bad feeling about this.![]()
As long as you keep 2023 on your radar
2023 Deep Passing Performance
In 2023, Prescott ranked fifth among all quarterbacks in expected points added (EPA) on deep passes (throws of 20+ air yards), with a 0.810 EPA and a 48.5% positive EPA rate. He achieved career highs in several deep passing categories:
Passing Yards: 1,085
Touchdowns: 11
First Downs: 36
Big-Time Throws: 27
Passer Rating on Deep Throws: 126.3
Notably, he maintained a low turnover-worthy play rate of 3.7% on these deep attempts.
Accuracy Metrics
Prescott's deep ball accuracy was among the league's best. On throws traveling 15 or more yards through the air, he completed 57% of his passes, ranking fourth in the NFL. Data from FTN Data indicates that no quarterback had a higher rate of catchable passes on such throws than Prescott, and only C.J. Stroud had a lower rate of interception-worthy throws.
Additionally, Prescott's deep ball completion percentage over expectation (CPOE) was +10.3%, the third-highest in the league. This metric reflects his ability to complete passes that are statistically less likely to be caught, highlighting his precision and decision-making.
Comparison to Other Quarterbacks
In the 2023 season, Prescott's deep passing performance placed him among the elite quarterbacks in the NFL. He was one of only two quarterbacks to rank in the top 10 across short, intermediate, and deep passing categories. Specifically, he ranked seventh in deep passing, eighth in intermediate, and ninth in short passing.
Or his whole career
Over his NFL career, Dak Prescott has consistently demonstrated strong deep-ball accuracy, often ranking among the league's top quarterbacks in this area.
Career Deep Passing Performance
2019 Season: Prescott led the NFL in completion percentage above expectation (CPOE) on deep passes (throws of 20+ air yards), with a +13.4% differential. He completed 44.4% of these attempts, surpassing the expected 31%, and achieved a passer rating of 109.7 on such throws.
2018 Season: He completed 46.5% of his deep passes, ranking fifth among quarterbacks that year.
2017–2019 Period: Prescott's adjusted completion percentage on deep throws was 45.9%, slightly higher than Carson Wentz's 44.5%.
2016 Season: In his rookie year, Prescott completed 35% of his deep passes (9-of-26), achieving a passer rating of 120.0 on such throws.
Career Efficiency Metrics
Throughout his career, Prescott has maintained a high passer rating on deep attempts. Among quarterbacks with at least 75 deep attempts since 2015, he ranks fourth in passer rating (115.6), with 11 touchdowns to just two interceptions.
Comparison to Other Quarterbacks
Prescott's deep-ball accuracy and efficiency place him among the league's elite. For instance, in 2019, he outperformed notable deep passers like Russell Wilson and Patrick Mahomes in completion percentage above expectation on deep throws.
Conclusion
Dak Prescott's deep-ball accuracy has been a consistent strength throughout his career. His ability to exceed expectations on deep throws and maintain a high passer rating underscores his proficiency in this aspect of quarterback play.
But don't let some good ole facts mess with your radar
We can see why Dak is happy, he needs all the help he can get as he is not instinctive QB .
Thanks for the input, Han.
Ain’t nobody reading a post that long from you. When the Cowboys win games this year, will you finally show up to celebrate and post after the games and during that same week or will you and the other three or four people like you here, disappear until we lose the next game like you all have regularly done in the past?
I'm just asking because I've never heard or seen a "fan" of a team say that their favorite team will be a "disaster" in the same sentence as "it will be fun to watch".
What "fan" of a team hide all week after their favorite team win, come out and post all week after their favorite team lose, and say it will be fun to watch their favorite team become a disaster?
Everyone with a half of brain knows you're a troll from the other NFCE team, so that's why it's hilarious to watch you pretend to be a Cowboys fan using words like "we, us, our" when talking Dallas Cowboys topics. I personally don't have anything against you. I'm just trying to figure out what do you get out of pretending to be a fan of a team you cheer against in real life? What kind of fetish is that? I'm sorry, but thats just not normal.
If I'm wrong about everything i said then I truly stand to be corrected and would actually apologize....
But make what you post make sense. What fan of a team never celebrate after wins, seem enthused to post all week after losses, claims it's funny to watch their team be a disaster and cheer against their own players to fail?
If you can make sense of this behavior as a "fan" of a favorite team you claim to support then I will definitely apologize to you for being wrong about you. I'm just confused because I've never seen a fan of a team function like you and your crew does. Very strange behavior.....
I agree that it’s highly unlikely he gets CeeDee money from Dallas. Pickens is talented but he has never sniffed the production or consistency of Lamb.In any event, if Pickens decides he wants to be paid on an equal level with Cee Dee, trouble is likely to follow. In any event, I seriously doubt this FO will be willing to pay Pickens on an equal basis with Cee Dee, unless he proves he's equally as valuable on the field. I'm feeling edgy about this issue.
Bro, did you read to the end to find out how this little tete-a-tete finished up? Lol.Damn.... the low football IQ trolls really hate when you crush their lies and narratives with real life facts/proof. It really makes them angry. Nothing worse than lying about a player then someone comes along with a strong list of facts like yours and makes them look even dumber.
Another narrative crushed.....
Bro, did you read to the end to find out how this little tete-a-tete finished up? Lol.
Ha ha , comparing Brady and Mahomes , multi SB MVPs to Dak .It's hilarious how quarterbacks like Matthew Stafford get laced with excuses for having career long failure because he played on a team with "no weapons".....
But then claims Dak "needs all the help he can get" as if that's a bad thing.
Matthew Stafford led the NFL in interceptions the year the Rams won the Superbowl. So based on that fact alone, is Stafford wearing a Superbowl ring today "without the help" around him?
As a matter of fact, list the names of quarterbacks outside of Brady and Mahomes that don't need "help around them"?
Last I checked, EVERY quarterback who has done really well, had help around them. That's why it's called a football TEAM. The hypocrisy is at an all-time high around here.
Now that I'm thinking about it.... how did Mahomes look at times when most of his "help around him" were injured?? Even the greatest to do it need help. No quarterback in history has or will ever win a football game by themselves.
Doesn't matter that you endorsed an unrelated, copy paste boondoggle stat from a person who would go on to outright fabricate a stat when called on it later? Proud ignorance is a thing these days, so .... And you're trying to hurl low football IQ insults? Lol.It doesn't matter. My statement is still very relevant to similar situations.
Ain’t nobody reading a post that long from you.
Ha ha , comparing Brady and Mahomes , multi SB MVPs to Dak .
Dak did have one of the best OL , RB in his prime and WRs trio , with TEs . Still couldnt elevate himself in playoff games or agianst good Ds .
He is what he is , above average aging QB without real instincts and body breaking down .

Those aren’t fans. They’re trolls and I’ve seen many posters here say the same. When the Cowboys win games this year, will you finally show up to celebrate and post after the games and during that same week or will you and the other three or four people like you here, disappear until we lose the next game like you all have regularly done in the past?

Speaking of boondoggles ...I didn't endorse anything, YOU said that. I just made a statement that people here make statements about Dak that doesn't line up with reality. The things they blamed Dak and Romo for, is the same things they move goalposts and give excuses to other quarterbacks in the same situations.
I'll give you an example of the dumb, low football IQ things that are said here. People here say Dak is a bum, below average quarterback, etc, right? Well the same people who says those things ALWAYS run, hide and duck these simple two questions. They never can answer them, so maybe you can help out and answer them for the people who run from them....
1. Dak is a perennial top 10 quarterback. Dak has become an All-Pro and MVP candidate. How does a bum and below average quarterback accomplish those things?
2. What are the names of other bum quarterbacks or below average quarterbacks who have been in the top 10 their whole career, became an All-Pro and a MVP candidate, surely Dak couldn't be the first bum, below average quarterback to have accomplished these things, correct?
And here's where the deafening silence usually take place.
