Yeah I’m looking at everyone who voted at the 31 percent...a lot of guys who are known to be idiots are there. The usual suspects.
Of course.

There's about a dozen or so fans who think Dak is great or terrible, and they fill every Dak thread w/ agenda driven drivel and spew insults. The huge majority of fans think Dak is a pretty good to good QB, but worry about the implications of overpaying him.

LOL....Dalton wants a Superbowl title he has cash galore.
For him to sign for 3 million possibly 7 someones....somewhere....promised him...... hmmmm the rest I leave with our members.
He signed for 1 year as a backup. With everything going on and add that he lives in Dallas....

Dalton isn't good enough to win a superbowl unless he has a stacked team with a defense. That's not here. He had 16 TDs and 14 picks last year, he isn't good. As a backup, sure he is one if the better backups in the league but anybody saying Dalton is better than Dak is incorrect and foolish. Its not even close

Absolutely. However, that's not the real question. The question is, are we better off w/ Dalton for 7 mil or Dak for 40.

That would only be for 1 year and it's Dak at around 35 not 40.

Let's play the game.........if Dalton starts all 16 games for Dallas and has a good year to very good year. How much do you think he will ask for next year? Anything less than 30 would be incorrect. I'm not losing a franchise QB in Dak for 1 year of Dalton who isn't a very good QB.

We are much better off with Dak and getting him signed long term. Dalton is a great backup that can get you a few wins if Dak goes down.

You are better off with the one that can win
And Dak is not gonna be 40 mil
He’s likely to be 35

No, it's closer to 40.

I'm not a Dalton fan. If we go to him, it'll be a starting over, and I'm well aware of that.

Dalton will not want 30. Not everyone is eaten up w/ greed.

You don't have a clue about the deal. It's 33-35 million a year and the hold up is 4 years compared to 5.

Dalton will absolutely want 30 plus cause that's the market now

This voting has nothing to do with the implications of overpaying him. IT says who do you want to start...

Disagree. It's all about money in this case, whether one tries to make it so or not. The poll is not valid if discussing even money. You'd have like 2 haters voting for Dalton, and that's it.

Any fan who wants Dalton starting isn’t about the Cowboys winning a championship. You have a few idiots on this board who don’t think the QB matters. They think you can stick any QB behind center on this offense and Super Bowl here we come. lol

You don't have a clue about Dalton. Brady and Brees both signed for around 25.

Or thinks we have a better chance w/ Dak's money spent elsewhere.

They want the money put everywhere but the QB position. They think if we can put enough talent on this team the Cowboys could win a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer or any other QB. There’s fans cherry picking the few average QBs who’ve won Super Bowl’s over the decades thinking the Cowboys could do the same. There can’t be a more absurd fan base than this one.

The NFL is becoming more of a QB driven league every year. There’s a reason QB salaries are skyrocketing. The way the game is being played today there’s no way you’re going to win a championship with a Trent Dilfer or Brad Johnson leading your offense. We don’t even have a defense to help our QB. A QB today has to put up numbers and has to be able to carry your team in some games. This isn’t the 70s, 80s, 90s or early 2000s where you can just pound the rock and play great defense for 17 weeks and walk off with a Lombardi.
